Walking around Israel - Voyages with Korhilio

Hello and welcome to today's #actifit activity report¹

Today I walked in Holon - my hometown doing errands and commuting.

We begin our walk in a beautiful garden by the name "Gan Haatzmaut", which translates to a "Independents Garden".
The garden is located in "Neve Arazim" ( Cedar Resort) neighborhood.

After some walking we come across a grass opening encircled by trees with interesting statues in the middle.

As we come closer we see a circular plaque that reads:

The story is about a boy named Roy and his intelligent parrot friend Korhilio. The parrot has magical powers because originally he was a grand mage from the Atlantis. They go on many adventures in different times and places.

The book was published in 1980 in Hebrew.

We turn around and come closer to look at the parrot Korhilio.
