The air around me tightened..
But before that happened, I was happy when I saw the time I woke up today. It was the same as yesterday, and it felt like I was deducting an hour each(i.e., 2 days ago, I woke up at 12 noon, yesterday was 11 and today 10).
I had hoped I would make a post on my actifit report, but I was too tired to lift a finger and... Here we are(basically, here I am).
I heard the latest update actifit V1.7.0 is out and decided to check it out, and from there, I checked other messages, and then, Twitter came into the picture, and that's how I saw it.
For some reason(a known reason), the air felt suffocating, and my lips were clamped together in a thin line as my eyes scanned across the newsfeed like I was hoping it was April 1st. I really did hope it was April Fools Day so I could laugh it off, but... it wasn't, and that alone was terrifying!
Diogo Jota was an amazing footballer and a great Liverpool player. Seeing news of his death and that of his brother Andre Silva was really tough for me because I liked him a lot as a player.
The fact that he got married just 5 days ago makes it all more brutal. And I couldn't help feeling for his wife, his 3 young children, and his parents for their two losses.

The day just started for me, and the only way I can stop my over-imaginative mind from replaying a scene I have never seen is to put myself to work. Luckily, I have home chores lined up and a lot of cooking to do today, so it'll be fine.
Since I am posting on yesterday's report, I had a good day. My day started earlier, and I did lots of kitchen work. I spoke to the carpenter on the cat's bed, and he said it'll be ready by Saturday, which is great because I'll be picking the cat up on Sunday.
There's still so much to get like cat treats and all. And everything to make the kitten safe in her new home. After working, I had cravings for chicken, especially fried chicken and yoghurt, and an amazing Momma D came through for me, lol.
It was quite late when I went out to buy the chicken, potatoes and yoghurt and getting back home to wash, cook and fry wasn't easy but the meal was worth it.
