It's the height of monsoon season in my locality so I went to the forest to look for edible wild mushrooms while I turned on my Acrifit and Revive app installed on my phone to document my progress as well as to determine the distance that I reached for the day. Though I haven't found any edible wild mushrooms on the ground, I was able to pick some cloud ear mushrooms growing on decaying tree debris which are also edible.
Then I found an interesting but eerie looking fungi growing on the base of a dead tree which I was able to identify via Google lens as dead man's fingers.
Then I found another fungus known as bracket fungus which appeared like a fan.
And before I end my walk, I found ferns that are anchored on big rocks.
And finally before I go home, I saw a Tokay gecko basking in the pale light of the sun that remains to be shrouded by clouds.
This is my Acrifit report for today and I hope you enjoyed reading. Below is the video of the route that I took this morning.
