I was busy out and about during the day and kept thinking it's a shame that I can't make the most of this wonderful sunshine and go for a cycle ride.
Well, that opportunity came later when I had completed all my jobs and plans for the day! I set off mid afternoon when there was still plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine.
Starting off towards the Ifield Mill Pond first, then out through some tracks to the main road crossing. Up into Buchan Park.
I came across more Amanita Muscaria mushrooms. There are so many this year.
There was hardly any breeze out there and it was really quiet in the forest. The silence only occasionally broken by falling acorns and other tree fruit.
I was surprised how few people I met out today. The weather should have attracted more to come out but that made it all the better for me! 😁
A very satisfying ride today, I took my time stopping often to take pictures and enjoying the peace and quiet.
