A rather nice surprise for everyone at our work unit today. A CAKE!
This was for all the staff (actually two cakes to ensure enough to go round) , for all our efforts over the year. It's been a difficult time recovering from the Covid pandemic, loss of contracts, and several new contracts/customers to supply. All this with a reduced staff position too.
Not a bad last days work. Now I have two days off to recover! Back in on Friday for overtime! Yes, I was asked to do overtime 😜. They need me on a busy day in the kitchens. How could I refuse?
