A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
A grey diffused cloudiness has spoiled a fantastic spring day, pardon, quite warm winter and with very pleasant temperatures.
It’s time, after a long Christmas of dinners and lunches, to recover a good physical shape and vitality of the best days. I had lunch very late and then I started my journey in Neapolitan public transport.
I came out in the area where via Caracciolo turns into via Mergellina and the landscape that faces me is beautifully gloomy. Even with these ash colors, the Gulf of Naples leaves you petrified to observe its beauty. The Gulf is the best artist I’ve ever met.
When the afternoon lights are still on I celebrate my iamalivechallenge 243 on a wall overlooking a sea that delights me with its characteristic smell of iodine.
After turning my back to the sea I turn to the monument of the legendary Armando Diaz, a general born in the alleys of Naples, who led the Italian army to the Italian revenge on the Austro-Hungarian axisHungarian/German in the famous triumph of Vittorio Veneto that ended the First World War.
On the hill behind the municipal villa they begin to turn on at the first light of a premature winter evening that warm the atmosphere already in itself very picturesque.
Quickly, what was a distant point, the Castel dell'Ovo, appears hidden in the shadows of the evening. Illuminated by an artificial light that violates the shades of yellow tuff.
All along the promenade I go up to Santa Lucia to visit the colorful Piazza Plebiscito where the stage of the year-end party is almost completed. The tricolor illuminates the institutional buildings at party.
After Piazza Trieste and Trento I enter a surprisingly crowded via Toledo. It shouldn’t be a big day, but tourists have flocked to Naples this year for the Christmas season.
My long daily journey ends with another celebration of my alive walk before I enter a congested metro line 1 to return home after a little more than 17k of steps.
