We pulled into the festival campgrounds around 1.30am when the gates were opened at 12.01 Tuesday morning. The pulled us into a field where we would wait until our column was up to drive through security.
Our small crew of 2 couples in 2 cars, everyone was tired! We didn't end up moving through security until 3pm! But it bother us much as we just slept in our cars most of the time. We were all wiped out from our travel. I stretched a bit and made some conversation with our neighbors.
You can from my steps how the activity picked up around 4pm when we were finally able to park our cars in the camping area and pitch our tents in the field. The campsight has rows named after animals in alphabetical order. We are on Elephant, between Dingo and Ferret!
We got to check out the food court and yoga field Tuesday night before sunset and then got back to our tents after a nice warm veggie bowl! Our campsite is right about a half mile from the festival center by most of the stages. The vibes feel great without alcohol being sold around every corner. Tomorrow promises adventures in the Salmo River adjacent to the music venues built.
Big relaxing! Until next time...
