Is there any viable technology to create a magnetic field on Mars? Transforming planets is something unprecedented, I know, but I have seen things that are not correct that I see out there, or things that claim too much and it really wouldn't be necessary that much. About 10 or 12 years ago a NASA expert proposed a project to precisely generate a protective magnetic field for Mars.

It was to place a fairly large satellite at a Lagrange point, it was not going to be easy, it was not going to be cheap, that satellite would have to be powered with solar energy, but we had the technology to do it, it was not like the one who proposed the curvature motor or these things that we do not have or we do not know how to do it, they were with current technology or the technology from 10 years ago when he proposed it.

So it can be done, I repeat, it would not be cheap, but you could make a protective magnetic field for Mars with solar panels, also keep in mind that Mars is smaller than the Earth, which is a small advantage within what is possible to make a protective magnetic field, that technology that you proposed could also be good for us, because of the issue of changes in the magnetic poles that can occur in thousands of years, it is good for us to have a plan B if that happens.
