Does it not seem like February is kicking off with the same speed we saw from January? This year so far is sure flying. Everything seems to be moving so fast.
Since this is my first Actifit report for the new month, lemme take this as an opportunity to say Happy New Month to y'all.
Yeah!
The adventure continues this new month and my fitness reps are also counting, thanks to the Actifit DApp which we all enjoy on this Blockchain. For the record, I always like to check my Actifit App at the end of each day and see the activity count I have.
I do that because I'm quite serious about my physical fitness and my overall health. This has become even more important to me as I get older because I'm becoming more conscious of the importance of being in very good physical and mental condition. I've also become really conscious of anything that could potentially mess with my physique.
The fact that I work from a sitting position means I have to do a bunch of my work while sitting on my chair and resting my elbow on my table. If you do that for the number of hours I spend working each day, it would be just a matter of time before it starts having negative effects on your physical health.
That's exactly where my physical activities come in.
I prefer to do a good blend of indoor workouts which I can get done without any gym equipments.
For today's edition, I took a walk from 6:30pm to 8pm. I usually choose a route that's less busy for my evening walks because I like to enjoy the calmness of the environment during my walks. However, for today's edition, I chose a busier route.
Taking the busy route gave me an opportunity to stop over at some shops and malls in order to restock my home with some items. A pack of my bathing soap is one of those items. I also bought some food items which I would use to prepare the meal I will cook tomorrow.
By the time I got home, I realized my activity count for today is around 6k. Later tonight, just before going to bed, I will wrap things up with a few sit-ups and push-ups.
