Today YouTube showed me a music video for a basically unknown song by a mostly unknown band. The group is The Lemon Fog and they played around Houston Texas in the late 60s. They were part of the Psychedelic scene best represented by The Doors and Fellow Texas band The 13th Floor Elevators.
This music video is for their song called Summer. The song is kind of mournful and just mid tempo. It features organ and guitar. The accompanying video is mostly beach scenes in low resolution. It looks like your grandpa's super 8 home videos of some past vacation. (It's my gramp's birthday today so Happy Birthday to him!)
The video is 2 years old and has 37K views. Not bad for an old forgotten song and band. I enjoyed both the music and the video. Let's hear what you think, below!
My Activity
for this Saturday was mostly setting up this new 55 inch Roku TV that Amazon delivered to me yesterday. I'm looking at it now! I had to spend some time setting up the right resolution and app sizing to accomplish my goal of clear text/graphics as well as maximizing what i can get on the screen all at the same time. I want to have 2 games and 2 browsers and maybe something else all open and viewable at the same time. I'm making progress but not there yet.
Also I have to set up the apps on the Roku. I have one for the computer, one for the Pi 4, one for the Pi 5. Then I have Spectrum app for my regular cable TV content, as well as Tubi and PlutoTV for more streaming entertainment. Add in Pandora for music and I'm all set.
I did the exercise snacks - high knees and squats. At night I too a walk in 70 degrees Fahrenheit! Way cooler than lately. But still uncomfortably humid so I didn't go as far as I wanted. Nevertheless, over 6K was my actifit score which is almost average for me.
I hope your weekend rocks!
Have a nice day, everyone! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
