Hi everyone ! It has been quite a journey in RL, and there are always reasons being offline a long time, moreover after my birthday!
For those who has known me long enough would have understood my journey in life shared here is usually never mundane and without any meaning, and this time round is no different!
From this 61 keys keyboard in my boot (trunk) you will definitely know "something's up" and it is never a dull moment when that happens!
You see, the thing about God in my life is when HE gives something, even an unexpected present / gift or even an open door (opportunity) it is never "just for fun"... in my humble opinion. 🤪
The very day I was blessed this keyboard as my early present, where I later needed to hunt for several things like even a simple 6.3mm Jack (because this is an almost 20 year old keyboard) - hence the explanation of all these steps achieved, the very next day I was "approached" unexpectedly by my outgoing Music Director in my church...

LORD, I thought YOU gave me this so that I can relive my childhood joy of playing the piano again! 😅
of course, that is not the case.
So for the next 14 days besides hunting and re-equipping the missing elements for the keyboard, I was frantically speeding up refreshing my memory and learning the basics of all the keys (at the right note)
Not to mention speeding up learning chords to figure our choir dynamics, unison and harmony! All in 14 days! 🤣
This is definitely outside my comfort zone now!
Not to mention back with thr choir as a conductor , after 3 years... 😆
(FYI: I am never a permanent conductor, just occasionally helping out when choir master is not available)
Boy! Conducting is no joke! The calories burnt making sure the choir is on the right tempo, coming in at the right time and silent at the right time is pure pleasure and pressure! 🤣
By the time I was done, I was literally sweating; and the spotlight that was shinning on my back was definitely not helping haha!
Nevertheless, according to the online streaming that was captured by friends and family have given me a sigh of relief that all went super well.
And I know this for a fact is nothing but a miracle! Definitely not just my own strength indeed!
Glory given to the right King of kings!
(I wish there is a "conducting" in the activity section for me to choose 🤣)
