When I woke up in the morning, I could see the Nose Mountains beautifully. It was a beautiful day for a walk. Since it was a weekend, I decided to go to Kyoto.

朝起きると、能勢山脈がきれいに見えた。今日は天気も良く、絶好の散歩日和だった。せっかくの週末だったので、京都まで行くことにした。

On the way to the station, I spotted a kawau bird catching fish in the river. Osaka's rivers are polluted and dirty, but recently the government has been cleaning up the rivers, and it seems that the rivers have become a little cleaner and the fish have returned.

駅までの道のりで、なんとカワウが川で魚を捕まえている姿を見つけた。大阪の川は汚染で汚いけど、この頃は行政が川の掃除をして少しはきれいになってきたのか川に魚が戻ってきたらしい。

A Self-Defense Forces post in Kyoto. Tanks and fighter planes were also deployed.

京都にある、自衛隊の駐屯地。戦車や、戦闘機も配備されていた。

I have been participating in a sign language marche, an event for the deaf. Since last month, I have been learning sign language by joining a sign language community club. However, I am self-taught, and I learn sign language from my friends in the sign language club and Deaf people in the club. I was able to have a small conversation with a deaf person in sign language on this day, so it was worth the trip to Kyoto.

ろう者のイベントである、手話マルシェに参加してきた。先月から本格的に手話サークルに参加して手話を学んでいる。といっても独学で学んでいて、手話サークルの仲間やろう者から手話を教えてもらっている。この日も少しだけろう者と手話で会話が出来たので、京都まで来た甲斐があった。

On the way back to Osaka, I stopped briefly at Sanjo-kawara and bought a yatsuhashi bridge, which is being built on the site of the Kitaza. A weekend excursion. It was a nice change of pace.

帰り道は三条河原に少しよって、北座跡に建設されている、八つ橋を買って大阪に帰った。週末の小旅行。いい気分転換になった😁
