The morning smelled like memory. Thick with humidity, the air on the peninsula trail clung to my skin, still earthy and damp from the night. I hadn’t dawdled long. Day two of a technical gear training waited, but I paused at the water’s edge. Just a few quiet minutes. I breathed, I sat, I cleared the clutter in my head. I didn’t rush. I didn’t regret it. From that stillness, I returned lighter, sharper. And I brought something back for you: two colorsplashed herons, like brushstrokes from a dream, perched in perfect patience.
Der Morgen roch nach Erinnerung. Die feuchte Luft entlang der Halbinselroute klebte an meiner Haut, immernoch erdig und nass vom Vortag. Ich habe nicht lang getrödelt. Der zweite Tag meines technischen Geräteschulungs-Trainings wartete. Trotzdem habe ich am Wasser innegehalten, geatmet, meditiert, den Kopf freigemacht. Ich bin nicht gehetzt. Ich habe es nicht bereut. Aus dieser Stille bin ich leichter zurückgekehrt. Und ich habe euch etwas mitgebracht: zwei farbsprühende Reiher, wie Pinselstriche aus einem Traum, geduldig und gelassen.
