Happy Caturday π from Bob and yours trulyπΉ. You definitely know the drill every Saturday π». Hopefully your weekend is coming along nicely βΊοΈ. Mine is being awesome and as the day fades, am gonna quickly fill you in on my stepping activities as well as some of the trending stories that caught my eye π. So just like yesterday, I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking π£ around the neighborhood π². A cloudy morning but with fantastic breeze π.
Then I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally the usual political shenanigans πΉ kept going. Lots of campaign rallies going on around the country.
Globally, Ukraine still trending as Russia bombed the port of Odesa π¬. Quite hypocritical considering they signed a deal yesterday in Turkey to let the port operate and ship out grains. They denied it, but who else would or is bombing Ukraine πΉ. Elsewhere, the world health organization has declared monkey π΅ pox a global health emergency π±.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is still sideways mostly at 22k. Let's wait to see how the month end, do keep hodling π―.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries. Then came back from for the usual nap π€. I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Tunisia, protests against Monday's constitutional referendum. The president has been doing the most to totally seize power and dictate π’. Definitely not the democracy Tunisians want or deserve. Elsewhere in Sri Lanka, a much needed fuel shipment arrived π, a new rationing system is in place to make sure everyone gets a share. Political shenanigans πΉ in Thailand as the PM survived a no confidence vote. In crazy weather, flooding in Fars province in Iran. Heatwave in parts of northern mexico π±.
Anyways as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea β and then stepped out for the sunset πβοΈπ
walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze π.
