I trust your last day is going well 💯, mine has been awesome and it's now that time of day to slow down and fill you in on how it went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.

So I began my day with a quick walk around the neighborhood. A chilly morning but quite sunny🌞.
Then I was back indoors after about 20 minutes of walking ending up at the grocery.
I set out to do some house chores before settling down to some you tube videos and checking on trending stories on x.
The lovely sunshine 🌞 continued during the day, it was wonderful .
The evening saw me out for my final walk around the park before heading back indoors
So now let's quickly take a look at what has been trending.
Starting off in Gaza, the ceasefire holding as 3 Israeli captives are set to be released tomorrow while Israel will reciprocate by releasing 369 Palestinian prisoners💯.
Hamas had called off tomorrow's release since Israel isn't letting in temporary shelters and heavy machinery🙀.
Convoys of mobile homes and heavy equipment have been waiting for approval on the Egyptian side of Rafah border. I wonder if Israel will accept to let them in😿.
On food and other essentials, the UN says there's no time to lose and rapid unhindered passage of aid is non-negotiable.
In Europe, Germany trending as world leaders gathered there for the Munich security conference.
Complete dismay for EU leaders as US vice president JD Vance said freedom of speech was in retreat in EU countries and that was their biggest threat🙀. Ofcourse most leaders have denounced that speech.
On the sidelines of that conference, president Zelensky met Vance and talked of future plans for Ukraine and stopping Putin attacks. It's looking likely that Ukraine will have to lose the territory Russia has snatched and may not join NATO as I don't think Trump will send more weapons/ money to keep fighting going. Quite a change of policy with Russia likely getting away with invasion of an independent country🙀.
Across the pond in the US, bird flu at many big farms has caused a major shortage of eggs🙀. Bird flu is quite severe and contagious that even if one bird catches it an entire flock dies😿.
The price has definitely gone up with people now grabbing as many eggs as they can. Experts say things should be back to normal in a few months.
Finally, I don't know if Trump can step in and stop the mess going on in Congo. The M23 rebels are advancing, after taking over Goma, they have now captured Bukavu, the capital of Kivu province🙀. Rwanda has been accused of financing M23 rebels but has always denied.
I don't know what the end game of m23 rebels is, do they want to capture the entire Congo eventually? Or are they after minerals/resources. It remains to be seen.
Tomorrow african heads of state are meeting in Addis Ababa for the AU summit, maybe the discussions will yield some progress on the issue.So that's about it from me, see you again tomorrow on an amazing Saturday or is it Caturday 🐈😹. Until then, it's good night 😴 and Adios ❤️. Hakuna Matata 😻💯
