Happy Monday π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's a new week and I woke up feeling upbeat π―. Thank you for reading and hopefully your day has gone well too.
Let's quickly take a look at mine went including the trending stories that caught my eye π.
So I started my day with a little bit of stretching, unfortunately I couldn't go out for the morning walk because of a little bit of raining.
So I just got on with some chores as usual.
During the day I followed up on trending stories, watched some crypto youtube and also something on X.
My last walk of the day, was around the neighborhood at sunset π. The sun π was out but not for long and temps have dipped
So what's been trending, In Gaza the mass murder continued as Israel killed 61 in shelling targeting Hamas. Meanwhile an unprecedented number of people have been showing up at hospitals suffering from severe malnutrition. The images are just disturbing , these past week two babies have died because of lack of formula. A really emaciated man died shortly after arriving to hospital, claiming he hadn't eaten in a month.
The irony is that there's a huge pile of food and supplies at Rafa border, but Israel is keeping tight control on it.
The level of hunger and desperation is reaching a new level.
Foreign ministers of 25 countries, including 5 member of G7, have signed a joint statement calling for immediate end of Gaza war. Criticizing Israel for drip feeding of aid and the inhumane killing of Palestinians as they try to access food aid.
Not far off , Syria has evacuated Bedouins out of Suwayda as shaky ceasefire holds.
Then Bangladesh trending as an army fighter jet crashed into school building killing 20 and causing lots of damage. Quite shocking as this hasn't happened before.
In the other war, Putin is not backing down, has been hitting Ukraine with around 426 drones and missiles each night. There is a potential he could send more than 1,000 per night. That's why Zelensky has called for peace talks on Wednesday in Turkey to try reach some sort of ceasefire. Fingers crossedπ―.
