Happy hump πͺ day and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week as we shuttle towards August. Hope everyone is doing great.
As always thank you for stopping by and let's go ahead and look at how my day went including the stories that caught my eye π.Here we go again π¨.
So just like yesterday, the rain was on this morning so I had to skip the morning walk. I did some stretches and then got to handling the usual house chores.
Later in the day, I kept up with all the trending stories and watched some YouTube and checked twitter too.
So I did finish off my day with the slow paced sunset π walk around the neighborhood. It looked quite cloudy but didn't rain.
So now let's get into the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Starting of in Gaza, more starvation with 111 dead from hunger including 81 childrenπΏ. There's new astonishing levels of desperation. 1 in 3 people are now without food for days on a row. Very disheartening especially the children. The worst is yet to come as Israel continues the weaponization of food. Concentration camps may be coming upπ.
Apart from the hunger, the mass murder/ genocide kept going with 77 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting HamasπΏ.
In the other war, Russia and Ukraine have held talks in Istanbul, they have agreed to exchange of prisoners of war,detained civilians and bodies of dead soldiers.
Meanwhile Putin still hitting Ukraine hard with tens of drones and missiles every nightπ.
Across the pond in the US, Trump admin leans into unsubstantiated claims Obama committed treason just to divert our attention from the Epstein filesπΉ. We still want to know the real truth.
Finally, down under Australia considers issuing more visas to residents of the island nation of Tuvalu.
Tuvalu, a low-lying island nation in the Pacific, is facing a serious threat from rising sea levels due to climate change. Scientists predict that much of the country, including critical infrastructure, could be submerged by the mid-21st centuryπ.
This includes the capital, Funafuti, where rising tides are projected to flood 50% of the land area within three decades and 95% by 2100π.
The population in 2025 is estimated to be around 9,492. I guess they better get out before being totally submerged at the turn of the century.
