Happy Monday π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's a new week and I woke up feeling upbeat π―. Thank you for reading and hopefully your day has gone well too.
Let's quickly take a look at mine went including the trending stories that caught my eye π.
So I started my day with a short walk in the morning hours, I did need something from the grocery and was barely out for twenty minutes.
During the day I followed up on trending stories, watched some crypto youtube and also something on X.
My last walk of the day, was around the neighborhood at sunset π. The sun π was out but temps dipped from that midday high.
So what's been trending, In Gaza the mass murder continued as Israel killed 92 Palestinians ,41 killed on queues as most of them were desperately seeking aidπΏ.
Meanwhile, the hunger and starvation kept going. 147 Palestinians have starved to death including 88 children. Hospitals have recorded 6 deaths in 24 hours on Sunday because of malnutritionπ.
Across the border in Israel. Two Israeli human rights organizations have used the word 'genocide' to describe what is going on in GAza. They have warned that Palestinians living outside Gaza are under risk of Israel genocidal tendenciesπ.
In the other war, Putin is not slowing down as he hit Ukraine with more than 300 drones and missilesπ.
Trump speaking in Scotland, where he met UK PM, Keir Starmer, has said Putin must agree to Ukraine ceasefire in 10 to 12 days and not the 50 days he gave earlier.
Trump also recognized the real starvation going on in Gaza, agreeing with PM Starmer that the war in Gaza must come to an end. That food must reach the most vulnerable especially children.
Still in Europe, an Israeli cruise ship was met with protests on one of the Greek Islands, protesters had to be kept back by police as the shouted "free Palestine"
Across the pond in the US, dozens of foreign ministers have gathered at the UN for a delayed conference to discuss Palestinian statehood. 149 of 193 UN members agree to a free Palestinian state. Of course US and Israel boycotted the event that was organised by France and Saudi Arabia.
In Asia, Leaders of Thailand and Cambodia signed a ceasefire deal in Malaysia ending close to 5 days of heavy fighting across their borders. Over 400,000 people have been displaced and most will now be heading back home after the stop in fighting.
