Hello everyone π»,
Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my report.
Anyways, for me it's been another ordinary day and it's now time to break down how my stepping went and also the trending stories that caught my eye π.
As always thank you for reading and let's jump inπ¨.
I began my day with some stretching moves before heading out for a walk around the neighborhood and park. It was sunny morning then cloudy then sunny but mostly warmπΉ.
After about 30 minutes, I was back indoors ready to deal with the usual house chores including laundry and cooking.
Then I sat down to some of the trending stories on youtube, twitter and the rest.
The final evening walk was still around the neighbourhood, a little sunny and cloudy as I made my way.
The pictures shared today are from my journey from central London to Heathrow meeting some relatives arriving in the country.
With the stepping out of the way, let's have a look at what was trending around the world.
In Gaza the mass murder kept going with the death of 92 Palestinians in Israeli airstrikes targeting HamasπΏ. 56 of them were killed queueing at the 'humanitarian' food centersπ.
Meanwhile the man made famine endures with 175 dead of hunger and starvation, 93 of them being childrenπΏ.
Also trending in the region. Far right leader, Itamar Ben Gvir , led close to 4,000 Israeli settlers in holding prayers at Al Aqsa mosqueπ.
Jews are forbidden from praying at Islam's third holiest site as part of 1967 agreement. Jordan, which oversees the mosque has condemned that incursion.
In the other war, Putin still going ham on Ukraine with drones and missile attacks, this time the southern town of Mykolaiv was hit, injuries reported with destruction of infrastructure and buildingsπ.
Ukraine responded with attacks on Russian city of Sochi. Ukrainian drones hit a fuel depot causing a large fire. Flights to and from Sochi were halted for a whileπ.
US special envoy, Steve Witkoff, will be in Russia this week as the US try to broker some kind of ceasefire. Fingers crossedπ―.
Across the pond, Brazil trending as supporters of former president Jair Bolsonaro rallied in Rio De Janeiro and Sao Paoloπ.
He is charged with trying to overturn the results of 2022 election with his supporters causing violence and destruction to govt installations. Let's wait and see how that case goes in court.
Finally, lets finish off with some news from down under. Sydney, Australia trending as close to one hundred thousand people marched across the Sydney Harbor Bridge to show solidarity with the people of Gazaπ―
Dubbed "a march for humanity" even the rain didn't stop them from speaking out about what is happening to innocent civilians in Gaza especially children.
Hopefully, a ceasefire will be reached, more food sent in to curtail the ongoing famine. deaths Fingers crossedπ―.
So that's it see you again tomorrow on an awesome Monday. Stay safe, good night π΄ and Cheerio β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π».
