Both Silvertop and PEPE were anxious for today’s hike, we were headed to “Soaring Eagle’s” trailhead!🤗

Late last night Cot was sitting on Dads shoulders purring……..😻
He does this quite often, it’s a Dad/ Baby Mountain Lion “Bonding thing” Lol!😺
I walked into our dark bedroom with Cot still sitting on my shoulders…………..
Suddenly he became tense, and he jumped onto our bed staring intently outside into the darkness!😳
I grabbed a high powered flashlight, and aimed it outside………
“What’s up Cot, there’s nothing outside my boy!”☺️
Cot was in full on Attack mode!😺
His tail was swishing, he was glued to the window!
We call this “Kitty TV” it keeps both boys happy, watching squirrels and birds all day long Lol!😇
Liz came in the room, and aimed the flashlight back outside a second time.
EYES glowed back at the three of us from deep inside my woodshed outside!😳
“Silvertop it’s a Raccoon !”🙄
We were both afraid either the raccoon would come through the screen for Cot, or my furry child would go on the attack and blow out the screen going after this raccoon!😺
All night we slept with the windows closed………….
“PEPE, grab my “Boombox”, I need to be sure that raccoon is gone this morning !”
With the volume maxed out, Silvertop cranked up AC/DC “Thunderstruck” and made several passes inside and around my woodshed!💪
“Well PEPE we can hike now, no raccoon, or any forest creature for miles Lol!😇
I hope the neighbors like AC/DC PEPE, let’s go for that hike!☺️
