It is another beautiful day to worship the Almighty God who kept us alive.So l woke up around 6am and do my morning chores.Then,l freshen up and head straight to church,i got to the church premises around 7:30am because our service usually start by 8 am. After some activities like prayers, singing of Hymns book and others.Our Pastor might the pulpit and he announced the topic, which he tag as:
THE DEADLY HABIT CALLED "WORRY"
Worry is a state of concern about potential problems or unpleasant events that may occur. It involves thinking about the future in a way that causes unhappiness, anxiety, or fear. It can also mean to disturb the peace of mind of someone.
FEATURES OF WORRY
1: Worry shortens someone's Life Span.Someone who worry alot is tend to a very short life span.
2: Worry brings about Sickness.
Excess worry can subject the body to different kinds of sickness.Worry weakens the organs of the body and always make them to be under performing.
3: Worry Usually birth Depression.
It can trigger unnecessary anger which will lead to Depression.
4: Worry Demoralizes a Man and equally make him hopeless and Faithless.As we can see the holy book of Luke 12:29-31 from the bible.
SOLUTIONS TO WORRY MODE
Below are awesome tips on how to overcome the deadly habit called WORRY:
1:Acknowledge and Observe Worries Observe worries without reacting or judging them, as if from an outsider's perspective. Also notice that anxious thoughts pass when you don't try to control them.
2:Mindfulness and Staying Present Focus on the present moment by paying attention to your body, breathing, and emotions. If you get stuck on a thought, gently bring your attention back to the present. Mindful awareness involves shifting your focus from your body to your surroundings and back again.
3:Deep Breathing Practice deep breathing exercises to calm your mind and quiet negative thoughts. Breathe in and out slowly, counting to three for each.
4Muscle Relaxation Practice progressive muscle relaxation by tensing and releasing different muscle groups to release tension in your body, which can help relax your mind.
5:Scheduled Worry Time Designate a specific time each day (e.g., 20-----30 minutes) to address your worries. During the day, remind yourself to set aside worries for your worry time to stay focused on the present.
6:Planning Instead of Worrying Develop plans instead of constantly reviewing worries. A good plan does not need constant review.
7:Interrupt Rumination Use thought-stopping techniques, such as saying "Stop," to interrupt ruminating thoughts. Replace negative thoughts with reassuring, assertive, or self-accepting statements.
POV:It is better to PRAY to God rather than subjecting yourself to WORRY.
