This Wednesday started good. Today my leg's pain is bearable. I intended to walk to the office but the universe had other plans. I was offered a ride.
Today, I ended up learning something interesting about how judgments are passed.
Turns out, the rewards granted in a statement of claim depend a lot on how the Claimant responds to the jury. I got curious after reviewing the judgments of three of our clients who were awarded different compensations despite having similar claims... they all worked for the same employer.
On my walk home, I saw this garden. It reminded me that if it were ours, my mother would have already sent us to weed it. It's a pity the maize has stunted growth.
