So these days I have been focusing on improving/streamlining my diet. This one (above) was quite satisfying! I’m a fan of asparagus! How about you? I’m doing my best to change my thinking about the food I eat on a regular basis. That food is going to become a part of who I am as soon as I eat it... it’s also going to determine how well I perform, how I feel, and ultimately if I experience this life in an optimal way or not. Pretty important stuff and deserving of more of my time and attention I figure! For me it’s helped to factor in #OneMore healthy thing to eat each day. I mean head to the grocery store and pick up something healthy. Just one thing. Do that each and every day and old habits start to change. Pretty soon I’m eating one more healthy thing and that naturally replaces something that’s not so healthy right?! So what do you think of that?
Here’s another new eating strategy I recently came up with... one of the difficult things about food is the decision making, planning, and the amount of time it actually takes to prep a wholesome meal... well I have decided that if I can’t think of anything to eat (that’s going to be good for me) to automatically default to making a salad. And you know what! I have actually been getting pretty creative with those! Here’s a few that I have made over the last couple weeks.
