Hey, lovers of good music, I bring to you three Nigerian music today that denote the theme I chose for the week.
I hope you enjoy listening to them.
This song is chosen to celebrate the African queen of Afrobeats. #Tiwa savage.
The girlie is a hottie and a baddie, no wonder she was chosen to perform for the coronation of Charles III and Queen Camila. Our own very Tiwa, repping Nigeria worldwide.
This song was released in 2014.
Patoranking featured the Queen #Tiwa and made dancehall music titled "Girlie O'", this is even a remix of the original song, but it is way better than the original song Tiwa killed it.
Which leaves you with no other option than to tilt your head left and right and even shake your body.
Ayra star ft Kelly Rowland -Bloody Samaritan released in 2022.
This song preaches resilience and believing in oneself and one's ability without seeking the validation of others.
We don't always have I lower our standards to fit in. Be you, stay true and do you.
Ayra star Bloody Samaritan means being your helper by protecting yourself from negativity.
Vibe killer, me I no go take shit.
This song too is a remix, but I love this more because Kelly Rowland killed it too.
Her verse focused on the need to love yourself and empower yourself. Her voice killed it, I felt they both had fun doing this song together.
I think I am impressed by the Nigerian artist lately, they doing well in terms of music and I am amazed to see how far most of them have gone doing collaborating beyond African Musician, that's just a whole vibe.
There's so much toxicity in the world and for fear of losing that person or job, we still hold on.
This song just reminds up to stand up against whatever that's stealing our joy.
Walk away and gain your sanity, in the video, the man on the chain depicts toxicity and Ayra Star chained him and was determined to do away with him, which means she chose happiness and her mental health over toxicity.
The video ends when she had found her peace and lets go of the man in chains, that means her peace meant everything to her and so she was determined to let whatever steal her joy go away.
Are still holding on to any form of toxicity?
Toxicity will drain you, as you enjoy this beautiful song which was released in 2021 Away by Ayra Star a Nigerian Artist, I hope you find the courage to choose peace over anything by walking away from toxicity.
Here is my choice for this week of #TTT by @ablaze.
All videos were gotten from #Youtube.
