Welcome to this week's edition of #ttt.
Since I chose to hop on the #GratitudeChallengeForTheMonthOfJune.
These songs are so appropriate to share today because there's a lot to be thankful for as my theme implies #Gratitude.
Kehlani - Thank you
Released in 2017.
Most times we fail to see our hidden blessings in some situations, we fail to count our blessings and even the small things in life.
We complain all the time and want more, but today can we all take a moment to show gratitude for everything?
If I ask you what are you grateful for, I am sure there is surely something you are grateful for.
For me, I am grateful for being alive, thankful for family, food, clothing, the air I breathe, flowers, having a beautiful pet, thankful for the beauty of nature, eyes to see, health, wow!! It's just countless.
Staying thankful doesn't mean we do not have any hitch in our lives, it only means we are also acknowledging the fact that some things and people make life worth living for us.
So today, can you tell someone you care about thank you.
One thing I've learned in life is saying thankful opens new doors of favor, gratitude as simple as it seems is everything.
Dido - Thank you
Released in 2000.
There are people in our lives who make life worth living, it could be our Parents, a lover, a sibling, a friend, or even our pet
Dido talked about how tiring her job was but then her lover's calls lifted her that day and then how she's thankful for having him in her life.
Similarly, we all have our-go -to people, that one person whose call put a smile on our face, that person who knows how to make us happy effortlessly, someone who goes out of their way to ensure we are fine, one person who knows we aren't fine, even if we never told them anything and just looking at their picture or thinking of them lifts our souls.
I have such person(s) in my life and I am extremely thankful for that, they make life easier for me.
Yesterday, I took my time to write an epistle for each one of them who has been amazing to me and I sent it to them.
I realized that them seeing how grateful we are for having them in our life is also a way of energizing them.
At least they get to know that their effort isn't in vain.
I honestly didn't know this friend of mine was having a bad day, I just randomly sent this letter of gratitude, and then the reply made me realize, people need to be appreciated more often.
Let's normalize giving flowers to people while they can smell them.
Today is day 6 of this beautiful Gratitude challenge, I have made up my mind to send beautiful messages to all my friends each day through June, just to put a smile on their faces and then I realized I have friends here too.
Here is me dedicating this song to all of you by
Mariah Carey - Thank God I found you
So to my beautiful friends, I met here on #Hive, I am grateful for making this journey a beautiful ride.
Firstly, I am thankful for finding Hive through a special person. #Hive has helped me grow tremendously, it has also exposed me to different people, cultures, and backgrounds.
It has taught me the act of discipline, competence, and what true love is, which is very hard to find on other social platforms.
Thank you friends, if I begin to tag each one of you, I might mistakenly outnumber some that I wouldn't like to do.๐คญ
But for always showing up on my blog, reading my post, commenting, for the words of encouragement, for making #Hive a sweet and safe place to be, thank you.
Thanks to all the communities for hosting beautiful prompts and contests, thank you too @ablaze for introducing that #ttt to the #hive. It has been a beautiful place to learn new songs and vibe to them.
