The CCR group, founded in 1967, has promoted such musical trends as rock and roll, psychedelic rock, country rock, blues rock, and saten rock. The band consists of John Fogerty, Tom Fogerty, Stu Cook and Doug Clifford. This is how they worked - writing lyrics and music, touring the United States and other countries, until the group disbanded in 1971. The friction began due to the fact that all the work of the group was directed to one person (group member) - John Fogerty. Nobody wanted to be an accompanist anymore. And that was a fatal mistake for the whole group. As soon as John tried to convey the creativity and performance of the songs at concerts and the release of the new album "Mardi Gras", he immediately failed. All the songs written by Doug Clifford and Stu Cook were of average quality and even John's trial versions of Sweet Hitch-Hiker and Hello Mary Lou did not save the deteriorating situation. Music reviewers and critics called this album the group's worst ever. The great group fell apart. The parting of all members of the group was not good due to problems with the Fantasy label, where they lost a large amount of money, which, even after many trials, were never returned. the paths of the group members parted. After the breakup of CCR, John Fogerty began a successful solo career, which gave us many more wonderful songs and good music.
