Once upon a time, in a little tiny city called Las Vegas, I had considered opening my own restaurant. I was tired of the restaurant that I was in, and I knew that the next job would be just like the last twenty.
I struggled with choosing the selection of food, the name of the place, as well as the fancy logo. I had printed a stack of menus, and even ordered plastic binders to make my dream more tangible. I tried different recipes for cooking my menu ideas at home, then I would sneak a peek at the invoices at work to cost out my final menu choices.
Realistically, I knew I could never afford to open my own restaurant, and even if I did, did I really want the headaches that go along with it? Just from being an Executive Chef, I gained twenty pounds and lost half my hair (not really, I'm still a solid 8), but if I was a restaurant owner, well, I'd never make it.
Let's jump a few years into the future. Now, I'm living in Los Angeles, and chasing the new dream of becoming a rich and famous actor. It's been a slow start to stardom, but hey, I've been in over 100 movies and TV shows. Check my IMDb.
I try to self-promote, which is encouraged in the acting community. #actorslife Making music videos or cartoons or National Days of What videos are great ways for me to practice my craft in front of a camera, being creative and spontaneous, and I get to force thousands to watch me do it!
