Today’s Three Tune Tuesday I’m rocking with Anderson .Paak! Dude is insanely talented. He has it all. Rhythm, vocals, soul, flow, lyrical content. He makes music in different genres and does them all well, he he blends elements of different genres at times to make dope music. He’s just too good.
Heart Don’t Stand a Chance is probably my favorite Anderson .Paak song, top 3 for sure! Love when artists work with live bands now days, just makes for a great sound and over all vibe. This song feels good though. Makes me want to rizz something up, respectfully… 😎
Where I Go is another really cool chill song by Anderson .Paak, and he couldn’t have chosen a better feature than H.E.R. for this one. They’re both great and sound good together. Another thing I like about his music is that a lot of it is believable and covers a lot of feelings that feel familiar and relatable. Good song here though…
Anderson.Paak also uses music to address issues and current events. He’s does it in a super honest and accurate way, and the music still sounds really good. In Lockdown he perfectly documented the events of the lockdown, protests taking place at the time, and there overall vibe at the time. Crazy how he hit the nail on the head with Lockdown. This song should be studied in history classes. Great song…
