Residente is the artistic name adopted by René Pérez Joglar, who was the founder and vocalist of the urban music project, Calle 13, a group that was always something more than the genre in which it was placed.
And now, alone, he continues to mix rap, hi-hop, urban music, and sounds of Latin American music, with daring, innovative lyrics, and very often with a strong social content. This emotional autobiographical self-fiction track is an excellent example of what this artist is capable of, and shows us why he is so respected in the Latin American music scene.
Residente es el nombre artístico que adoptó René Pérez Joglar, quien fuera fundador y vocalista del proyecto de música urbana, Calle 13, una agrupación que siempre fue algo más que este género en que se le ubicó, al no encontrar uno más adecuado.
Y ahora, ya en solitario, sigue mezclando rap, hi-hop, música urbana, y sonidos de la música latinoamericana, con letras atrevidas, innovadoras, y con mucha frecuencia de fuerte contenido social. Este emotivo tema de auto ficción autobiográfica es una excelente muestra de lo que este artista es capaz de hacer, y nos muestra porque es tan respetado en la escena de la música latinoamericana.

Wilco is a band that I discovered more than 10 years ago, almost at the same time that I saw the documentary that contains the video that I attach to this text, but I rediscovered them about 3 years ago thanks to this song that simply I'm in love with.
The song is my favorite from this respected band, and it has what I consider to be one of the best guitar solos in history, by the excellent guitarist Nils Cline. The solo lasts almost half of the song, but in its second part the other two guitarists of the group join him, and almost as if they were voices, together they reach the end of the song, something that makes it unique; I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Wilco es una banda que descubrí hace más de 10 años, casi al mismo tiempo que ví el documental que contiene el video que adjunto a este texto, pero los redescubrí hace unos 3 años gracias a esta canción que sencillamente me maravilló.
El tema es mi favorito de esta respetada banda, y tiene el que considero uno de los mejores solos de guitarra de la histoira, a cargo del excelente guitarrista Nils Cline. El solo dura casi la mitad de la canción, pero en su segunda parte se le unen las otras dos guitarras del grupo, y casi como si fueran voces, juntas llegan al final del tema, algo que lo vuelve único; espero lo disfruten tanto como yo.

Babasónicos is a band with 30 years of experience, it is one of the most important in Argentina and one of the most beloved in Latin America. Their sound subtly mixes elements of popular and pop music from the 70's onwards and is accessible and in many cases even fun.
And that's precisely why this song from his latest studio album seemed so interesting to me, and even if it weren't for the characteristic voice of Adrián Dárgelos, one might even think that it's not a Babasónicos song. The song has strong influences from electronic music and has a musically interesting structure that builds little by little and closes very well. I hope you like it.
Babasónicos es una banda con 30 años de trayectoria, es una de las más importantes de Argentina y de las más queridas de latinoamérica. Su sonido mezcla sutilmente elementos de la música popular y pop de los 70's en adelante y es accesible y en muchos casos incluso divertido.
Y es precisamente por eso que este tema de su último disco de estudio me ha parecido tan interesante, e incluso si no fuera por la característica voz de Adrián Dárgelos, se podría pensar incluso que no es un tema de Babasónicos. El tema tiene fuertes influencias de la música electrónica y tiene una estructura musicalmente interesante que se construyendo poco a poco y cierra muy bien. Espero sea de su agrado.
Chris Cornell - Billie Jean

I've known about this Chris Cornell cover for a long time, but I've never come across a video of him performing it, and better yet, live.
There isn't much to say about Cornell that hasn't been said before, and his relatively recent death, which still hurts fans, was undoubtedly a great loss for the rock scene and music in general. Seeing him in this video made me reevaluate his quality and greatness, and miss him even more than I already missed him.
Sabía de este cover de Chris Cornell desde hace mucho tiempo, pero nunca me había topado con un video en que lo interpretara, y menos en vivo.
No hay mucho que decir de Cornell que no se haya dicho antes, y su muerte aún relativamente reciente, que aún duele a los fans, fue sin duda un gran perdida para la escena del rock y de la música en general. Verlo en este video me hizo dimensionar de nuevo su calidad y su grandeza, y extrañarlo aún más de lo que ya lo extrañaba.
