Hello my friends of hive, I'm so excited to be publishing today in this community, and is that, is a facet that not everyone knows about me, but I'm a music lover, I'm a singer in training and I hope to continue sharing content here and maybe someday a cover.
Today I share with you my first review of an album, in this case Between 1&2 by Twice very special and that I love. I will try to be as objective as possible, since this is my favorite kpop group, it might be a little difficult for me. I recommend you to listen to the songs while reading my opinions to broaden the experience, although you can also listen to the album before or after reading my review. It should be clear that I am giving my personal opinions and we may not agree which is not a bad thing, with that said, let's get started.
Beetween 1&2 is the 11th album of South Korean girl group Twice, it was released on August 26 this year and it is very important as it is the first album they released after renewing their contract with their company JYP Entertainment. It is a bit sentimental album as they are all together after 7 years of their debut, and they stayed with the company and Twice for us, the Eleven, who are their fans. The album is called Between 1&2 which means between one and two, this means between once and twice alluding to the love relationship between the girls and the fans. I love the album in general, but now I will talk about each song in more detail.

Talk that Talk
We start with talk that talk, a song with a very catchy chorus and good for dancing, we talk about a song well moved with a message of love. In summary of what the lyrics of the song talks about is that at once talk and tell me what you feel, or more colloquially "get to the point", Describes this situation of uncertainty when you like someone and do not know what that person feels for you, so the phrases like "Let's stop beating around the bush, no introductions are needed" In if the song what it says is like, Ya please tell me that you love me. It has a very catchy choreography in the chorus that went viral on tiktok and highlights its best high notes in the last chorus.
Honestly, when they announced the song and the album I thought it was going to be a little more mature concept and that's why I was disappointed the first time I heard it, but what gives? Twice are the biggest exponents of the cute concept in kpop, it partly went viral because of them, and if I met the group with a cute concept, why are they supposed to change? It's something that suits them well and is enjoyed by most of their fans. In conclusion, it's a very cute love song, great to listen to in the morning while taking a bath and fill you with energy. The video is very nice to watch and has a retro y2k concept.
Queen of Hearts
And we continue with my favorite song of this album, titled Queen of hearts, as I mentioned before this album is special for Once (the fans of twice) and Twice, and I interpret this song as a message of love from Twice to all the fans that have accompanied them because thanks to all their fans they are the queens of hearts. It is a song of overcoming and saying goodbye to the past to start a new stage much better, this can also be interpreted to mean that they are going to start a new stage after renewing their contract.
It is a pop-rock song that reminds me of the rock songs of the 2000's, maybe a vibe similar to Avril Lavigne. It highlights Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Nayeon's vocals very well and personally my favorite chorus is the second one, which is sung by Jeongyeon. I recommend this song if you are feeling sad or listless, with its message of overcoming can help you to continue to a new stage of you, a better and renewed stage.

Basics
Now we move on to Basics, the third song on the album, which like its title is a bit basic, with a repetitive and catchy chorus. It starts with some beautiful harmonies that invite the listener to keep listening to the song. I can say that it is not my favorite, the album is full of songs that I like more, however this song is good, it is a bit relaxed, and the lyrics talk about looking for the basics in a relationship, go slowly and without haste and invites the other person to be patient.
The lyrics of this song were written by group member Chaeyeong, who is the main rapper. My favorite part of the song is the rap, I feel it is very entertaining to listen to as well as the bridge, it is sung by jihyo and I love it. I would say it's a soft pop to enjoy relaxed, maybe while cleaning the house or cooking.

Trouble
And now we continue with Trouble, a song written by Twice's leader, Jihyo, describes the feeling of being in trouble for being under someone else's spell, but at the same time liking that trouble.
Personally I don't think this is the best song, actually it goes a little unnoticed, it is one of the least listened to, however I love the bridge of this song and the last chorus is the best in my opinion as it starts an instrumental that complements better the chorus and serves to make voguing, it is a good song that is located very well after basics, as we came from something relaxed and we move to something more moving, generating a great contrast.

Brave
The fifth song is Brave, which can easily be interpreted as a song for her fans, because of the lyrics like "I can't live without you" and also "You make me what I am over and over again" Although it can also be for a special person like a partner or for your mom. It is very nice because it talks about being in a difficult situation, feeling alone, but still being brave for you, now that I think about it, a mother could also dedicate it to her son.
In the bridge the song becomes a little slower and suddenly comes a high note from Jihyo to open again to the chorus but this time with more strength and with some adlibs that I love and make me love this song. It's a pretty good song with nice lyrics, I recommend it.

Gone
After a nice song comes Gone, which is a strong song about deception towards another person thanks to a betrayal and their lies. It is one of my favorite songs on the album, I love how the girls' voices sound on this song as they sound a little more mature.
The lyrics talk about how disappointed and upset she feels about a betrayal, why it's always a lie, as she says in the rap, I can take a lie once, maybe twice but I get tired fast, it's too late to give it back and there's no more chances, I feel like it's a song for someone who was unfaithful to you, that's what the lyrics convey to me, but I love it, I totally get into the aura and I feel like I was unfaithful, that I was betrayed, I get into the character and I enjoy the song in a crazy way, like I'm scorned hahahahahahahahaha.
In the last chorus Jihyo comes in with a really awesome note and it's something that makes me love the song with all my heart. This song is definitely one of my favorites even though I don't feel identified with the lyrics, and that's what I love most about music, that you can enjoy whatever it is without feeling identified.

When We Were Kids
And the album ends with When we were kids, a nostalgic song remembering the times of childhood or youth, where we were more innocent and when we wanted to be super heroes. It can be interpreted as the nostalgia that the girls feel for their times when they were apprentices and also their debut era, as it has been 7 years since they debuted.
The lyrics were written by member Dahyun and even though I find the lyrics very touching and cute I didn't connect with this song from the beginning, it is my least favorite of the album and the one I have listened to the least, but what I like the most is the lyrics. And with this song we close this review.
This album is short (22 minutes) and I enjoyed it for the first time the day after it came out while I was getting ready to go to the gym, it filled me with energy and made me feel happy, it is an album with a happy vibe and with some bitter touches, it is a special album because it talks about the connection that the girls have with their fans and I find the lyrics and the instrumentals very nice.
And so far this review, I love the album, I recommend it, my favorites are Queen of hearts and Talk That Talk and my least favorite is When we are kids.

Hola mis amigos de hive, estoy tan emocionado de estar publicando el d铆a de hoy en esta comunidad, y es que, es una faceta que no todos conocen de mi, pero soy amante de la m煤sica, soy un cantante en formaci贸n y espero poder seguir compartiendo contenido por aqu铆 y tal vez alg煤n d铆a un cover.
Hoy comparto con ustedes mi primera rese帽a de un album, en este caso Between 1&2 de Twice muy especial y que me encanta. Tratar茅 de ser lo m谩s objetivo posible, ya que al tratarse de mi grupo favorito de kpop tal vez se me haga un poco dif铆cil. Les recomiendo escuchar las canciones mientras leen mis opiniones para ampliar la experiencia, aunque tambi茅n pueden escuchar el album antes o despu茅s de leer mi review. Cabe aclarar que estoy dando mis opiniones personales y puede que no estemos de acuerdo lo cual no tiene nada de malo, ya dicho eso, empecemos.
Beetween 1&2 es el album numero 11 de el grupo femenino surcoreano Twice, se lanz贸 el 26 de agosto de este a帽o y es muy importante ya que es el primer album que lanzan luego de renovar contrato con su empresa JYP Entertainment. Es un album un poco sentimental ya que todas se encuentran juntas luego de 7 a帽os de debut, y siguieron con la empresa y con Twice por nosotros Los Once, que somos sus fans. El album se llama Between 1&2 que vendr铆a siendo en espa帽ol entre uno y dos, esto significa entre once y twice haciendo alusi贸n a la relaci贸n de amor de las chicas y los fans. El album en general me encanta, pero ahora les hablar茅 m谩s detalladamente de cada canci贸n

Talk that Talk
Empezamos con talk that talk, una canci贸n con un coro muy pegadizo y bueno para bailar, hablamos de una canci贸n bien movida con un mensaje de amor. En resumen de lo que habla la letra de la canci贸n es que de una vez habla y dime lo que sientes, o m谩s coloquialmente "ve al grano", Describe esta situaci贸n de incertidumbre a la hora de que te gusta alguien y no sabes lo que siente esa persona por ti, por eso las frases como "Dejemos de andarnos con rodeos, no hacen falta presentaciones" En si la canci贸n lo que dice es como, Ya por favor dime que me amas. Tiene una coreograf铆a muy pegadiza en el coro que se hizo viral en tiktok y destaca sus mejores notas altas en el ultimo coro.
Sinceramente, cuando anunciaron la canci贸n y el album pens茅 que iba a ser un concepto un poco m谩s maduro y por eso me decepcion贸 la primera vez que la escuch茅, pero 驴que pasa? Twice son las mayores exponentes del concepto cute en el kpop, en parte se hizo viral gracias a ellas, y si yo conoc铆 al grupo con un concepto cute, 驴Por qu茅 se supone que deber铆an cambiar? Es algo que les queda bien y que disfrutan la mayor铆a de sus fans. En conclusi贸n, es una canci贸n muy tierna de amor, muy buena para escucharla por la ma帽ana mientras te ba帽as y llenarte de energ铆a. El v铆deo es muy bonito de ver y tiene un concepto retro de y2k
Queen of Hearts
Y seguimos con mi canci贸n favorita de este album, titulada Queen of hearts, como ya les mencion茅 antes este album es especial para Once (los fans de twice) Y Twice, y yo interpreto esta canci贸n como un mensaje de amor de Twice hacia todos los fans que las han acompa帽ado ya que gracias a todos sus fans ellas son las reinas de corazones. Es una canci贸n de superaci贸n y de decir adi贸s al pasado para empezar una nueva etapa much铆simo mejor, esto tambi茅n se puede interpretar a que van a empezar una nueva etapa de ellas luego de haber renovado el contrato.
Es una canci贸n pop-rock que me recuerda a las canciones rock de los 2000, tal vez una vibra parecida a Avril Lavigne. Destaca muy bien los vocales de Jihyo, Jeongyeon y Nayeon y en lo personal mi coro favorito es el segundo, que es cantado por Jeongyeon. Te recomiendo esta canci贸n si te sientes tal vez triste o desganado, con su mensaje de superaci贸n te puede ayudar a continuar a una nueva etapa de ti, una etapa mejor y renovada.

Basics
Ahora pasamos a Basics, la tercera canci贸n del album, que al igual que su titulo es un poco b谩sica, cuenta con un coro repetitivo y pegadizo. Empieza con unas hermosas armon铆as que invitan al oyente a seguir escuchando la canci贸n. Puedo decir que no es mi favorita, el album esta lleno de canciones que me gustan m谩s, sin embargo esta canci贸n es buena, es un poco relajada, y la letra habla de buscar lo b谩sico en un relaci贸n, ir despacio y sin prisa e invita a la otra persona a tener paciencia.
La letra de esta canci贸n fue escrita por la integrante del grupo Chaeyeong, que es la rapera principal. Mi parte favorita de la canci贸n es el rap, siento que es muy entretenido de escuchar al igual que el puente, es cantado por jihyo y me encanta. Dir铆a que es un pop suave para disfrutar relajado, tal vez mientras se limpia la casa o se cocina.

Trouble
Y ahora continuamos con Trouble, una canci贸n escrita por la l铆der de Twice, Jihyo, describe el sentimiento de sentirse en problemas por estar bajo el encanto de otra persona, pero que a la vez le gusta ese problema.
Personalmente no me parece que esta sea la mejor canci贸n, en realidad pasa un poco desapercibida, es una de las que menos he escuchado, sin embargo me encanta el puente de esta canci贸n y el ultimo coro es el mejor en mi opini贸n ya que empieza un instrumental que complemente mejor el coro y sirve para hacer voguing, es una buena canci贸n que esta ubicada muy bien despu茅s de basics, ya que ven铆amos de algo relajado y pasamos a algo m谩s movido, generando un genial contraste.

Brave
La quinta canci贸n es Brave, que facilmente tambi茅n se puede interpretas como una canci贸n para sus fans, por las letras como "No puedo vivir sin ti" y tambi茅n "Tu me conviertes en lo que soy una y otra vez" Aunque tambi茅n puede ser para una persona especial como una pareja o para tu mam谩. Es muy linda porque habla de estar en una situaci贸n dif铆cil, sentirse solo, pero que igual seguir谩 siendo valiente por ti, ahora que la pienso tambi茅n se la podr铆a dedicar una madre a un hijo.
En el puente la canci贸n se vuelve un poco m谩s lenta y de repente llega una nota alta de Jihyo para abrir de nuevo al coro pero esta vez con m谩s fuerza y con algunos adlibs que me encantan y me hacen amar esta canci贸n. Es una canci贸n bastante buena y con una linda letra, se las recomiendo.

Gone
Luego de una canci贸n bonita llega Gone, que es una canci贸n fuerte sobre decepci贸n hacia otra persona gracias a una traici贸n y a sus mentiras. Es una de mis canciones favoritas del album, me encanta como suenan las voces de las chicas en esta canci贸n ya que suenan un poco m谩s maduras.
La letra habla sobre lo decepcionada y molesta que siente por una traici贸n, por que siempre es una mentira, como dice en el rap, puedo aguanta una mentira una vez, tal vez dos veces pero me cans贸 r谩pido, es tarde para devolver el tiempo y ya no hay m谩s oportunidades, siento que es una canci贸n para alguien que te fui infiel, eso es lo que me transmite la letra, pero me encanta, entro totalmente en el aura y siento que me fueron infiel, que me traicionaron, entro en el personaje y disfruto la canci贸n de una manera loca, como si estuviera despechado jajajajajaja.
En el ultimo coro llega Jihyo con una nota realmente impresionante y es algo que me hace amaaar la canci贸n con todo mi coraz贸n. Esta canci贸n definitivamente es una de mis favoritas aunque no me sienta identificado con la letra, y eso es lo que m谩s me encanta de la m煤sica, que puedes disfrutar lo que sea sin necesidad de sentirte identificado.

When We Were Kids
Y el album se termina con When we were kids, una canci贸n nost谩lgica recordando los tiempos de ni帽ez o de juventud, donde se es m谩s inocente y cuando quer铆amos ser super h茅roes. Se puede interpretar como la nostalgia que sienten las chicas por sus tiempos de cuando eran aprendices y tambi茅n su era debut, ya que han pasado 7 a帽os desde que debutaron.
La letra fue escrita por la integrante Dahyun y a pesar de que la letra me parece muy conmovedora y linda no conect茅 con esta canci贸n desde el principio, es mi menos favorita del album y la que menos he escuchado, pero lo que m谩s me gusta es la letra. Y con esta canci贸n cerramos esta review.
Este album es de corta duraci贸n (22 minutos) Y yo lo disfrut茅 por primera vez el d铆a siguiente que sali贸 mientras me alistaba para ir al gimnasio, me llen贸 de energ铆a y me hizo sentir feliz, es un album con una vibra alegre y con unos toques amargos, es un album especial ya que habla de la conexi贸n que tienen las chicas con sus fans y me parecen muy bonitas las letras y los instrumentales .
Y hasta aqu铆 la review, el album me encanta, se los recomiendo, mis favoritas son Queen of hearts y Talk That Talk y mi menos favorita es When we are kids.
Lamento si esta publicaci贸n qued贸 un poco larga, la verdad es que me extend铆 un poco porque me emociona hablar de lo que me gusta y de verdad que Twice es algo que me hace muy feliz, este album me gust贸 mucho y quiero compartirlo con ustedes, espero que le den una oportunidad y lo disfruten de la misma manera que lo hago yo, Ahora si para que no se haga m谩s largo todav铆a.
