Tal vez si solo fuera una o dos canciones que me recuerdan a como era escuchar Gorillaz en época más temprana no me tomara la molestia siquiera de escribir, principalmente porque cuando se pierde ese que caracteriza a una banda, ese sonido que te hacia mantenerte pegado, es muy difícil volver a recuperarlo y volver a sentirte como en aquellos días cuando recién los descubriste, esto me paso con la que fue en su momento mi banda favorita, que al sacar un album nuevo, ya no sonaban en absoluto igual y dejaron de gustar su canciones, al menos las mas recientes, pero es que gorillaz, pasa lo contrario, concretamente con su album Song Machine, el cual tiene una buena lista de canciones que consiguen ser diferentes a como en sus inicios, notándose su evolución a través de los años, pero manteniendo eso que gusta a mi y a muchos, la armonía de una buena combinación de sonidos, como me sucede con Pac-Man por ejemplo.
Maybe if it was only one or two songs that remind me of how it was to listen to Gorillaz in earlier times I would not even bother to write, mainly because when you lose that which characterizes a band, that sound that kept you glued, it is very difficult to regain it and feel again like in those days when you just discovered them, this happened to me with what was once my favorite band, that when they released a new album, they did not sound at all the same and stopped liking their songs, at least the most recent ones, they didn't sound at all the same and I stopped liking their songs, at least the most recent ones, but gorillaz, the opposite happens, specifically with their album Song Machine, which has a good list of songs that manage to be different from their beginnings, noticing their evolution through the years, but keeping what I and many like, the harmony of a good combination of sounds, as it happens to me with Pac-Man for example.

Pero Gorillaz no es solo sonidos bonitos y ya esta, todos sabemos eso, esta banda siempre ha tenido letras que tocado todo tipo de tópicos, desde el materialismo, la libertad, la felicidad y un sin fin de temas como cualquier artista, pero una cosa que no me esperaba y que gusto muchísimo fue implementaron otro idioma diferente del ingles y que lo hayan hecho bien, que se haya escuchado potente y orgánico, me encanto, puede parecer una cuestión insulsa pero tomando que utilizaron el idioma Xhosa, proveniente de Sudáfrica con unos versos sencillos pero funcionales, es espectacular, a mi poca veces me gustan las canciones que no son del ingles como tal, y menos cuando se utiliza idiomas distintos en una canción, mis panas, para mi esta es una de las canciones más originales que ha hecho Gorillaz desde que regresaron y en general todo el Album es muy recomendado por mi parte, especialmente esta 3 canciones, aunque hay más sorpresas que podrás encontrar si decides escucharlas todas.
But Gorillaz is not just pretty sounds and that's it, we all know that, this band has always had lyrics that touched all kinds of topics, from materialism, freedom, happiness and endless topics like any artist, but one thing that I did not expect and that I really liked was that they implemented another language other than English and that they did it well, that it was heard powerful and organic, I loved it, it may seem a trivial matter but taking that they used the Xhosa language, from South Africa with simple but functional verses, it is spectacular, I rarely like songs that are not from English as such, and less when different languages are used in a song, my friends, for me this is one of the most original songs that Gorillaz has done since they returned and in general the whole album is highly recommended by me, especially these 3 songs, although there are more surprises that you can find if you decide to listen to them all.
