You know, ๐ค most young musicians do not really know how long the road to becoming a pro is and some just climb their instrument without having a specific structure perhaps plans on what to rehearse per time which is the only way to bringing the best out of you.
Being a Pianist has thought me a whole lot as you can only become better by being intentional and not just messing around and mostly, being yourself and not trying to copy others because there lies the
frustration
Jealousy
discouragement
and what follows mostly is Loss of Passion for your instrument or what ever role you play in music ๐ถ
which is what makes the progress of any musician to be slow or retarded as the case may be per time.
I really admire seeing People respecting their instruments which the way they sit, handle and play their respective instruments at a given point in time.
It is very beautiful when People Climb their instruments or when a drummer sit on a drum thrown ๐ฅ with all confidence and play so professionally that you feel like hugging ๐ค them when they deliver sound music per time.
Just that some musicians don't really know how to score songs properly which is sad ๐ because ability to score songs properly is what differentiate intermediate from Professionals.
Another thing Young musicians don't understand is being particular about Discipline
No matter the wealth of knowledge, it wouldn't really matter if you can't give the music ๐ถ what it requires at a particular period of time and this same discipline can be applied to one's personal life which makes one excel exponentially in every aspect of life. ๐
