Just as I have returned to the routine of rehearsals and classes within El Sistema, I have also returned to repairing some things and this time it was a bridge for a cello that had a very large bridge and the child could not play very comfortably.
Así como he vuelto a la rutina de ensayos y clases dentro de El Sistema, también he vuelto a reparar algunas cosas y esta vez fue un puente para un cello que le habían puesto un puente muy grande y el niño no podía tocar muy cómodamente.
I had some time without doing these jobs and I can tell you what a killer it was to do this bridge.
I had to do it days in advance but the internal routine and some mishaps left me just hours to send it and it was also the rush that tired me and left my arms a little sore.
Tenia tiempo si hacer estos trabajos y les puedo decir lo matador que me resulto hacer este puente.
Cabe destacar que tenia que hacerlo con días de antelación pero la rutina interna y algunos percances me dejaron a solo horas de mandarlo y también fue la premura que me canso y me dejo los brazos un poco adoloridos.

I got down to work after making the first measurements, I comment something that I found quite uncomfortable in this calibration and it was the smallness of the bridge. Curious yes, but the smaller it is, the more uncomfortable it is to hold it and clearly you have to be much more careful, in details and how you approach the wood.
Me puse manos a la obra después de hacer las primeras medidas, les comento algo que me resulto bastante incomodo en esta calibración y fue lo pequeño del puente. Curioso si, pero entre mas pequeño es incomodo sostenerlo y claramente hay que tener mucho mas cuidado, en detalles y el como abordas la madera.
In spite of that, I was able to keep moving forward, adapting to the size of the bridge quickly to give it shape and make it adapt to the cello in the best possible way.
Pese a eso pude seguir avanzado, adaptándome a ese tamaño del puente rápidamente para irle dando forma y que se vaya adaptando al cello de la mejor forma posible.
After almost two hours I was able to finish that bridge, a time that I had not spent before, so let's attribute it to what I said before. The good thing is that the result was satisfactory.
Después de casi dos horas pude terminar ese puente, un tiempo que no me había pasado, así que vamos a atribuirlo a lo que comente anteriormente. Lo bueno es que el resultado fue satisfactorio.
