There was a strong rumor in the middle of the year that we would have the privilege of singing with the guys from Voz Veis, but it was not so, the good thing for us is that there was a great closeness between the sextet and our musical institution. We met them at our main venue last Friday as I told you and on Sunday we enjoyed their last performance at the Teresa Carreño Theater as special guests, so the joy of the musicians, especially Jhoxiris and I was not long in coming.
Corría un fuerte rumor a mediados de año de que tendríamos el privilegio de cantar con los chicos de Voz Veis, pero no fue así, lo bueno para nosotros es que sí hubo una gran cercanía entre el sexteto y nuestra institución musical. Los conocimos en nuestra sede principal el pasado Viernes como les comenté y el domingo disfrutamos de su última función en el Teatro Teresa Carreño como invitados especiales, así que la dicha de los músicos, especialmente de Jhoxiris y yo no se hizo esperar.
As I mentioned last time, it's not that I knew all the music of this Venezuelan group, but as the concert went on I realized that I sang more than one song, which makes me realize how big their step in Venezuelan entertainment was during the last 20 years. At the top of my lungs I recognized songs like La Niña de Mis Ojos, Devuélveme Mi Amor, Cosita Rica, Aunque Sea Poco and the big hit El Farolito. They also sang music that identifies them as a sextet such as Bohemian Rhapsody and Ven a mi Casa Esta Navidad.
Como les mencioné la última vez, no es que me supiera toda la música de esta agrupación venezolana, pero a medida que pasaba el concierto me di cuenta que canté más de una canción, lo que me hace ver lo grande que fue su paso en el entretenimiento venezolano los últimos 20 años. A todo pulmón reconocí canciones como La Niña de Mis Ojos, Devuélveme Mi Amor, Cosita Rica, Aunque Sea Poco y el gran éxito El Farolito. También cantaron música que los identifica como sexteto como Bohemian Rhapsody y Ven a mi Casa Esta Navidad.
As always in this type of concert post I will apologize once again for the quality of the images, especially the audio. I record everything with my Tecno Pova II, but it is not the best equipment for this kind of shows and I regret not sharing something better, but it can serve as a reference of what was the emotion of the moment. This Venezuelan group will be performing in several areas of the country and it will be their last concert as a sextet, so it is very important for their followers, and wow, they are great. I will share with you below the private concert they did during the pandemic with the same idea of being the prelude to this last meeting...
Como siempre en este tipo de post de conciertos les pediré disculpa una vez más por la calidad de las imágenes, especialmente del audio. Todo lo registro con mi Tecno Pova II, pero no es el mejor equipo para este tipo de espectáculos y lamento no compartirles algo mejor, pero les puede servir de referencia de lo que fue la emoción del momento. Esta agrupación venezolana se estará presentando en varias zonas del país y será su último concierto como sexteto, así que es muy importante para sus seguidores, y vaya que son geniales.
