La entrevista se llevó a cabo por vía whatsapp, donde tuvimos de intermediario a Ennio Di Marcantonio, Jefe de Prensa de la Fundación Corazón Rockero (Gillmanfest, Kultura Rock en Vivo y Festival de las Flores) donde la baterista de Ursus, Diana Cañón fue la responsable de responder a nuestra entrevista.

1- ¿Cómo surge la idea de formar la agrupación Ursus y qué fue lo que los motivó a elegir el nombre y cuál es su significado?

La idea de formar la banda surge a partir de mi hermosa unión con mi esposo Mario Cruz que es el bajista, el fue quién le dio la chispa para sacar adelante este proyecto.

Nosotros desde qué nos juntamos a vivir teníamos ese sueño de hacer rock and roll juntos y él le dio el nombre a la banda tuvo las ideas iniciales y a través del tiempo nos han llegado grandes amigos con quienes hemos podido lograr este bello emprendimiento llamado Ursus.

2- Bueno, la banda debutó hace muchísimo tiempo, no podría recordar el primer concierto, pero sí, tal vez desde que comenzamos los ensayos empezaron paralelamente los conciertos dado que el vocalista Félix Zamora es una persona muy inquieta qué no se queda quieto, busco oportunidades tocando puertas y casi desde que empezó la banda comenzamos a tocar en bares, en ciudades, cualquiér festival que hubiese y bueno, cualquier clase de festividad que es lo que al principio es lo que debe hacer cada banda para abrir puertas y nosotros lo hicimos desde muy jovencitos.

3- La banda cuenta con tres trabajos discográficos, todos están impresos en formato físico, está también el disco El Hijo del Metal qué lo tenemos en formato de acetato, todo está en las plataformas digitales a través de nuestra casa Psychophony Records, ahí la música se puede adquirir en los dos formatos y ahorita estamos a punto de recibir el LP en acetato Fuerza Metal ya creo también qué llegó a Colombia.

4- El evento más icónico que nunca olvidaremos fue nuestro primer Rock al Parque, fue por emdio de invitación, nunca pasamos papél si no qué nos llegó una invitación y es algo que agradecemos, fue inolvidable que la banda estuvo ante 25 mil personas, mirabas al infinito y no dejabas de ver cabezas entonces inolvidable, la mejor hora que también fue, ya estaba lleno el parque, uno recuerda ese momento con escalofríos, mis agradecimiento a IdArtes.

Personalmente, no la había escuchado antes, el tema Motorockers es una canción dedicada a todos los rockeros motorizados de latinoamerica que han transitado diversos recorridos rompiendo esquemas, normas y paradigmas, la cual se ha convertido en una forma de vivir en comunidad, la combinación de la cultura motera y el rock, sin ataduras, sin límites.
