Hello guys of the music community. It is another week and I am back back with a new vibe. This week I felt like bringing a song I’ve alway found quietly powerful: Yo hago nuevas todas las cosas by CM. I didn’t write it—this is just me doing a cover, but the words and melody have stayed with me over time.
Originally, it’s played with a guitar, and that’s how I first heard it too. But lately, I’ve been sitting more with the piano, and I thought, why not try it that way? Piano gives it a different kind of presence—less rhythmic maybe, but it opens more space for the words to sit. Less about performing, more about letting the song breathe
What speaks to me most is the central phrase: “Yo hago nuevas todas las cosas.” That feels like more than just a lyric. It’s a quiet reminder that even when things feel stuck, worn out, or dry, life does have a way of turning the page. Sometimes through big things, sometimes in small, quiet ways we barely notice until we look back.
I’m not claiming any big production here—just me, a piano, and this song that keeps finding its way back into my hands. I guess that’s part of why I share things like this: to put it out there, and maybe someone else hears it on a day they needed exactly that line.
Thanks for listening if you do
Mira y escucha
Que hago nuevas todas las cosas
Mira y escribe
Estas palabras te darán calma
Pues yo soy el principio y el fin
Mira y escucha
Que hago nuevas todas las cosas
Mira y escribe
Estas palabras te darán calma
Pues yo soy el principio y el fin
