Hoy me gustaría recomendarles una banda que me encanta y que pienso que tiene poca popularidad para los tremendos temas musicales que tienen. La música para mí es mi lugar seguro y encontrar cantantes y bandas que tengan letras reales y que hablen de temas de la vida de manera sincera es de las cosas que más me gusta cuando escucho música. Por eso les recomiendo escuchar a The Fray.

Music for me is my safe place and finding singers and bands that have real lyrics and talk about life issues in a sincere way is one of the things I like the most when I listen to music. The Fray is an American band that became popular in the 2000s when they started their musical career, I remember the first time I heard them I loved the lyrics and the melody combined with the harmonious voice of the vocalist, although nowadays the vocalist was changed by another singer, I feel that the band still has a lot of potential and there are many people like me who are excited to see that the band even after so many years is still standing singing hymns that became the memories of the adults who still listen to them.

Me emociona mucho poder compartir algunas de mis canciones favoritas, entre ellas está You Found Me, esta canción se hizo popular en una serie de televisión y muchos la recuerdan de allí, pero yo la escuché en mi computadora cuando era una adolescente y recuerdo tan bien la sensación que me causó, es una canción que demuestra una vulnerabilidad muy grande al decir que aunque puede llegar a sonar triste te eleva y te llena de la sensación de haber conocido a personas que en su momento fueron esos que salvaron de alguna manera nuestra vida con una palabra o simplemente con su presencia, amo esta canción con locura y no se cuántas veces la he escuchado pero siempre me emociona como la primera vez.

How to Save a Life is one of the saddest and most meaningful songs I have ever heard, its lyrics are extremely painful where the singer tells us about the loss of a very close friend who perhaps was not in a good moment and made the decision to end his life. The story is so painful that it is impossible not to feel the heart turn off, it is a letter to what we would have wanted to tell that person, what we would give to be with them and hug them tightly so they can know they have someone to count on, it is difficult to listen to it without feeling that lump in the throat and more when you have lived closely the loss of a loved one or friend in this way.
Look After You es otra de las canciones que más escucho de la banda, es una canción que también habla del deseo de hacerle saber a esa persona que amas que siempre puede contar contigo y que pase lo que pase estaras allí para hacerle saber que la vida puede ser difícil pero que vale la pena continuar. La voz y la melodía de esta canción me encanta, este tipo de canciones melancólicas me gustan mucho y forma parte del estilo de la banda por lo que podrán encontrar muchas canciones que hablen sobre temas sensibles y a la vez también sobre la importancia del amor en nuestra vida.
Look After You is another of the songs I listen to the most from the band, it is a song that also talks about the desire to let the person you love know that they can always count on you and that no matter what happens you will be there to let them know that life can be difficult but it is worth it to go on. I love the voice and the melody of this song, I really like this kind of melancholic songs and it is part of the band's style so you can find many songs that talk about sensitive issues and at the same time also about the importance of love in our life.
Probablemente muchos ya han escuchado al menos una canción de The Fray, para mí son sumamente infravalorados, tienen un potencial increíble y unas letras muy especiales. A parte de esta banda me gustaría saber si conocen alguna otra que tenga un estilo parecido, me encantaría poder escuchar nuevas canciones de otras bandas. Simplemente me siento muy feliz dentro de la melancolía que demuestra cada una de las canciones de la banda, es cómo una curita al corazón y quiero seguir buscando más canciones de la banda porque se que tienen muchas que probablemente sean tan buenas como las que menciono en este post.
