Then I reckon he'd probably enjoy my adaptation of the music from the Lofty Castle level in the game!
I don't know if you played the game when it was on the old Playstation 1 but when I found out there was a remastered version of the trilogy on the PC, I had to go for it! Especially when it was half price in Steam!
Anyway, as I was playing relentlessly during lockdown, I got the Lofty Castle level and I was getting increasingly frustrated at trying to complete the challenges... and failing.
This meant I spent a long time on that level, listening to the ear worm of the background music adding to the fury.
However, when I finally got around to completing that level, I couldn't get the Lofty Castle melody out of my head so I thought the best way to combat that is of course, by making a drum & bass interpretation of it lol.
I ended up making 2 version of it, I'll share the short version with you first. In my naivety, I'd think this had a shot of getting on radio so made a "radio edit" which was a bit shorter - I think they have to be 4 minutes or less to go on air.
The longer edit is a little more DJ mix friendly with a longer intro and outro so that those who enjoy making mixes can find it easier to blend the tune in... if anyone wants to that is - probably just me lol!
