What a slog this week has been, hope you've had a good one, now we can chill out and unwind.
As I am getting in the mood for some new music releases starting next week, I've been sharing a few non-dnb tracks as that what these new tunes will be!
And I reckon today's share is probably one of my personal favourites I've made in my entire catalogue.
It's atmospheric and dream like from the off with a rhythmic drumstep beat, ticking things along nicely.
However, for me, it represents a happy time in my life when I was travelling around Australia and New Zealand in 2019.
I struck it lucky with the timing as 6 months after coming back, the world shut down with the pandemic and I'll be grateful for as long as I live for the opportunity.
@gabrielatravels captured these happy feelings beautifully in the artwork of the Travel Diaries EP.
My favourite section of the track comes in around 3:20 during the second breakdown, so much so, I actually stopped typing for that period and was transported to the coastal drive on the west side of the South Island... bliss :)
