Happy Tuesday to all the musicians in the #Music Community. As usual, today, I am sharing with you the opportunity to participate in the fabulous #TTT initiative proposed by @ablaze.

  Today I bring you an extraordinary band for me because they were the ones who influenced me in a great way that my musical tastes were more inclined to the Rock genre. Today I want to talk to you a little bit about Evanescence.

  Hoy les traigo una agrupación sumamente especial para mí ya que fueron ellos quienes me influenciaron en gran manera a que mis gustos musicales se inclinaran más al género del Rock. Hoy quiero hablarles un poco de Evanescence.

  Answering the question in the title, yes, this group is still active today it has new members as well. The only person who has remained loyal to the group itself is the great Amy Lee.

  She is not only considered the leader of the group, but she also wanted to venture as a soloist finally in 2014.

  Respondiendo a la pregunta del título, si, esta agrupación sigue activa actualmente, de hecho tiene nuevos integrantes también. La única persona que se ha mantenido fiel a la agrupación en sí es la grandiosa Amy Lee.

  Y es que ella no es considerada nada más la lider de la agrupación sino que también quiso incursionar como solista finalmente en el 2014.

  I've been a big fan of this band since I first heard them back in 1994. I remember they came out on par with Linkin Park and with a super gothic style that caught anyone's attention.

  Amy captivated me because her beauty looked like that of a vampire. I loved her whole style itself, those pronounced dark eye shadows, painted lips, and her whole pale face, like a gothic character out of a horror movie. For me, watching her in the videos was simply spectacular. Every outfit, every hairstyle, everything was super original.

  Yo la verdad he sido muy fan de este grupo desde que los escuché por primera vez allá en el 1994. Recuerdo que ellos salieron a la par con Linkin Park y con un estilo super gótico que llamaba la atención de cualquiera.

  Amy me cautivió porque su belleza parecía el de una vampiresa. Me encantaba todo su estilo en sí, esas sombras de ojos tan pronunciadas y oscuras, labios pintados y toda su cara pálida, como un personaje gótico salido de una película de terror. Para mí, verla en los videos era simplemente espectacular. Cada atuendo, cada peinado, todo era super original.

  However, as they released their next albums, things were changing slightly, that is, they kept their style but there was something else that remained and made them sound like they were stuck in a style that they were afraid to leave and experiment with other instruments and musical techniques as Linkin Park did in the following years.

  And of course Amy Lee realized this and wanted to make another foray into the group. I imagine that the original band did not agree hence the split. In fact Amy in some interviews talked about the band becoming monotonous. And you can feel this in the first two albums. Her third album Evanescence tried to apply something new but I guess they didn't let her work as freely as she would have liked.

  Sin embargo, a medida que fueron sacando sus siguientes álbumnes, la cosa iba cambiando mínimamente, es decir, mantenían su estilo pero había algo más que se mantenía y los hacía sonar como estancados en un estilo del que tenían miedo de salir y experimentar con otros instrumentos y técnicas musicales como lo fue haciendo Linkin Park en sus siguientes años.

  Y por supuesto que Amy Lee se dió cuenta de esto y quiso incursionar de otra manera la agrupación. Imagino que la banda original no estuvo de acuerdo y de allí la separación. De hecho Amy en algunas entrevistas hablaba de que la banda se había vuelto monótona. Y esto lo notas en los primeros dos discos. Su tercer album Evanescence intentó aplicar algo nuevo pero imagino que no la dejaron trabajar con total libertad como ella hubiera querido.

  I liked her third album I have some favorites but I felt it lacked something and at the same time I noticed that there was something different. On the other hand, I was very excited to hear that Amy went solo and released her album.

  But when I listened to it, I found it very different, it was not rock, not punk, not gothic style, but something more instrumental leaning towards Folk and Celtic style music. This was quite a surprise and I honestly prefer to listen to it in its rock version.

  A mi me gustó mucho su tercer album, de hecho tengo algunas favoritas pero sentí que le faltó algo y a la vez noté que hubo algo diferente. Por otro lado, me emocioné mucho al enterarme que Amy se lanzó como solista y había sacado su propio disco.

  Pero al escucharla, me resultó sumamente diferente, no era rock, tampoco punk, ni estilo gótico, sino algo más instrumental inclinándose por la música Folk y Estilo Celta. Esto fue toda una sorpresa y honestamente prefiero escucharla en su versión rockera.

  And it doesn't matter how old they are or what music they decide to make or how many times this group changes members, I will be loyal to Lee and Evanescence, and I will continue to support her until she decides when she wants to release new songs.   Y es que no importan los años que ellos tengan o la música que decidan realizar o las tantas veces que este grupo cambie de integrantes, yo le seré fiel a Lee y Evanescence, y la seguiré apoyando hasta que ella decide cuándo quiera sacar nuevas canciones.
