Hello dear friends! Hi Hive! Today I want to share with you an exclusive material. This is my new track - Void of Altair. Welcome!
YouTube:
Intro:
As I promised in my previous POST, I will share with you one of my best works at the beginning of this year. This is an exclusive track that I have not published anywhere before, so I decided to make a presentation here on Hive. Since the beginning of the year, I have already written a third of my music album and Altair is one of the title tracks in the album. As I said earlier, the album is dedicated to the space theme and each track is its own, separate musical story.
About Track & Album:
The album includes tracks that will become one compilation for my live performances, each track is unique and has its own niche in the album. Some tracks depend on other tracks on the album because I made them in the same key, so they will be next to each other in the compilation. The main track is the same name of the album itself - Methuselah. Undoubtedly, it can be called the hottest and loudest work of the album at the moment. The work we're talking about today also plays an important role in the album. A series of tracks like Altair are the very tracks that will give the listener a little breath after explosive techno compositions that will focus mainly on climaxes.
Although I would not call the track Void of Altair too relaxing, for me, on the contrary, it is the very track that should rock the listeners and the audience on the dance floor, prepare them for more pumping tracks that will make you give your best. Altair is a kind of anthem of the album, the track from which the general concept will begin to emerge for the listener and he will be able to try to imagine what lies ahead for him throughout the entire album.
The Altair project turned out to be quite extensive due to the large abundance of sounds and midi synthesizers, I tried to give the track its own peculiarity, a kind of shamanic atmosphere. As for processing, each channel in this project has a lot of processing plug-ins on the mixer. I used Valhalla's Reverb and Delay on every sound except for the bassline and rhythm pattern, more specifically the beat itself. Naturally, such elements as percussion and clap have been processed by plug-ins, - without this, in any way. I had to slow down the BPM of the track so that it would rock the whole project, while the percussions still gave the track more movement and filled in the gaps in the drum part. Also, a significant part of the channels on the mixer has an EQ from the FabFilter, I use it always and everywhere. When they come up with something cooler, I’ll think about it, but so far they haven’t come up with a better and more convenient one (IMHO)
I spent a lot of time on creating the melody, there are two of them on the track, I took the piano True Pianos for the main melody that plays in the pit, I think it turned out quite melodic. The track itself is of course a bit even trance because of its structure and sound character. Sometimes I even find it difficult to answer myself - what genre of music did I get. As I said earlier my music is something of a hybrid as I take different things from other genres and apply them to my tracks.
Thinking out loud:
You always need to be careful and not miss anything, even the smallest particle. The more experienced I become, the more I understand that creativity cannot be rushed and that everything must be done measuredly and step by step. Previously, 7 years ago, I did not have such perseverance as now, I could make a track and halfway through my work and sit down for a new track and so on until I find the right thread. In part, this may be right, but life has taught me to bring things to the end and not to leave something halfway if there are no good reasons for it. I try to always keep in touch with my colleagues and exchange experiences and share my music - this is important, and I also really love criticism, sometimes justified criticism is much more pleasant to perceive than praise and flattering words. It makes me stronger and smarter, and also opens up new frontiers for me in working with creativity.
Outro:

In conclusion, I want to say that for now everything is going according to plan as I planned, I try to spend a lot of time in the studio despite the turbulent situation around, of course, part of my plans collapsed at one moment, but I try to get up on my feet and not lose hope that my plans are coming true. Yes, I live just 30 km from Ukraine and every day I hear explosions, loud sounds of airplanes that constantly keep me on my toes. I try to remain vigilant and really want everything to end as soon as possible, so that world peace would come and people would understand that we all one way or another pursue one goal - the preservation of our beautiful planet. By all the peoples of the world, we must build an ideal or close to ideal world around us, so that our children live under a bright and clear sky and enjoy life. It is difficult to experience such moments when the planet is torn apart, it is very short-sighted. I sincerely believe that everything will work out, that creativity will not intersect with politics and all the components. I wish each of you, your children, relatives and friends that everything is fine and calm for you. Do not think that I'm complaining, it's just that my views on the world diverge from some political aspects. All my life I have tried to be honest and kind to every person on this planet, regardless of their skin color, eye shape, religion and everything that makes us different. It is worth remembering only one thing - we are all brothers and sisters, we all have the same body structure, habits and so on. Love each other, love the world around you and then you will understand what real happiness is! Thank you all and see you again. Hugs everyone! ❤️
