Another lovely Tuesday here on hive π, also off hive as the weather today was just touching π.
So I was feeling real emotional today when listening to my Deezer shuffle today as they kept on bringing great moving songs after songsπ.
Here I was, vibing and singing on the road coming back from school (cause I'm mad like thatπ), then it hit me.
Yoooo, this should legit be your three tunes tuesday post π
A stroke of pure genius, I tell youπ.
So I went to my queue, as I got home and picked the three most touching songs I listened to todayπ.
Some Touching Tunes ππβ¨
The first tune was one that broke the internet some time back.
Monster ~ Shawn Mendes ft Justin Bieber.
This track was the first I heard and the song that told me my shuffle was going to be a good one.
In this song Shawn and Justin come together to give their takes on life and the music industry.
How it feels like everytime eyes are on you and you're supposed to act a certain way, then when you fall the whole perspective of you changes.
The vocals on this one is a strong oneπ, I'm not particularly a fan of Justin Bieber, but I have to say...
This was great ππ₯β¨
Keisha's Song ~ Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar really moved everyone with this one.
In the track he tells the tale of a fictional character 'Keisha', who was a teenage prostitute.
He wrote this song for his little sister and is to note that he wasn't actually demonizing prostitution, but just trying to give us a different POV on their lives.
I think it's a point of view most people need to really look through π.
Mistake ~ NF
With the release of his latest studio album, Hope. I've listened to some new rap styles and flows from him.
I've got to say that this wasn't what I expected but I kind of like the new NFπ
The song on his album that really touched me, was this.
The kind of slow-fast melodic rap of him just pouring his heart was just moving.
In here, he talks about how he has moved from the point of trying to prove himself to others, yes he has his bad sides, but he's accepted them.
I guess why I was moved so much is because I've been in this situation of questioning yourself because of public opinion on the certain bad qualities that has been brought to light.
In that point you may feel so bad and want to end it all.
To be honest I wanted to talk about it but I guess I'm just not ready.
All I'm saying is that whatever people may say, don't allow them (including yourself) call you a Mistake.π
So that's it from me tonight π
As always I'll have to tag the Irish music lover @ablaze.
