Introduction
Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday. As usual, I will be sharing my #threetunetuesday playlist for the contest hosted by ablaze. I was actually sick recently and I still need to finish taking the medicine so I wasn't able to post the past few days. I haven't missed TTT I think since I started so I wanted to make this post despite my condition. I found three interesting songs to share so I hope there's one song that you like out of the three.
#1. Heartbreak Souvenirs - Anson Seabra
This is a fairly new song by Anson. I did share his Peter Pan was right song a few weeks ago. This song is obviously an emo song which you could guess from the title of the song. The song is about a girl that broke up with a guy. The guy is left with not only memories but he's left with some items that remind him of their relationship together. It could be that he hasn't thrown away the items that she left or that she gave him during that relationship. I assume they are physical items since he mentions a book in the lyrics so it's probably not a figure of speech but I guess it could be also.
#2. Either Way - IVE
IVE is one of the recent popular KPOP groups in the last two years. This song came out a day ago and it was super catchy to me. This song isn't really emo even though it might give off that vibe. From the lyrics, I believe this song is about the IVE group but honestly, it can be related to anybody in real life. There are people that will say good and bad things about you. Some may say you're a good person and some may say you're a bad person. In this song, the group either way people say good or bad things about them, that they will be good. In other words, it means it doesn't matter what others say or think about them they know themselves and don't need the validation. This is supported by the last lyric "Let's smile for them" because if they smile it shows that they are happy despite the possible bad comments about them.
#3. Turn Back Time - Daniel Schulz
I left this for last because I felt most people would like this song the most. Daniel isn't a famous singer but this is definitely his best song. The song is about a guy wishing he can go back in time to fix his past relationship with a girl. Based on the lyrics in the first verse, it seems the girl was good to him because they did crazy things like run red lights together which could be a figure of speech. The girl also kept eating his bad lasagna and I think someone that was good to a person in a relationship would put up with that. The interesting lyrics is the scream and shout part. This is something that a small kid does when they don't get what they want. However, I think for this song is more towards just letting everything inside out so he can finally move on but I could be wrong.
Thank You
If you made it to the end, thank you so much for reading and listening. I hope you liked the songs. Which one did you like the most? Do let me know in the comments below.
Please don't be afraid to share your three songs every Tuesday! Share the music share the love.
