Introduction

Hi everybody,

I'm @shawnnft. This is my post for the #threetunetuesday playlist which is a contest hosted by @ablaze. Today, I will feature my part 2 for Chinese songs! The songs I chose are randomly chosen from my Chinese playlist and if it happened to be a song I covered before than I would skip it. Anyways I hope you enjoy the songs.

Part 1

#1. 我不配 (I'm Not Worthy) - Jay Chou

The first song randomly chosen was I'm Not Worthy by Jay Chou. The song title can also suggest to mean not good enough for you since that's what the song is about. Jay Chou is probably the most famous male Chinese singer of all time. Anybody that is Chinese probably knows him. He's definitely one of my favorite male Chinese singers and I like most of his songs.

The song is about a famous guy dating a woman. Since he is famous it's hard for him to date her as it would spread all over the news etc. She compromised a lot for him but he wasn't able to spend as much time with her because that's all she wanted was to spend time with him. Based on this, he feels that he's not worth it for her and that she deserves better. We can infer this because one of the lines of the lyrics says your beauty I'm not worthy of it. I feel like this song could have been based on a true experience in Jay Chou's singing career but who knows.

#2. 多想留在你身邊 (How I Want To Stay By Your Side) - 劉增瞳 (Liu Zeng Tong)

The second song chosen was How I Want To Stay By Your Side by Liu Zeng Tong. Liu Zeng Tong isn't that well known but I like her songs. Some of the songs she has are very nice and I find her voice to be very beautiful.

The song is about a girl just wishing she could stay by the guys side. She didn't realize after so long that the guy loved her. She most likely regrets it and wished she could pick up "the fragments of love and fill in the chapters of the years". This was in the lyrics which we could suggest that she wished that she spend all those years by his side. It's a pretty short and simple song that repeats the lyrics but this is what I feel the song is about.

#3. 愛你 (Love You) - Kimberley Chen 陳芳語

Finally, the last song chosen is Love You by Kimberley Chen. Just a fun fact Kimberley Chen is actually born and raised in Australia. This song Love You is probably her most famous song and I even remember this being played on the radio when I visited Malaysia during my middle school years. The music video is cute too if you watched it. Anyways I have seen Kimberley in reality shows and she has a super cute and attractive personality; I think a part that makes her cute is because of her height; she's around 150cm.

The song is about a girl whos completely in love. She just wants to be with the guy all the time and she genuinely loves him because of him. We can see that in the lyrics where it directly translates to love you love you I want to stay with you every time. She also feels that every time she meets him it's a fresh time; this can be seen from the lyrics that says "every kiss seems to be the first and I want to kiss you every second. This is pretty much what the song is about.
