Here is a bit of Mongolian metal for this #threetunetuesday by @ablaze
The first band is obviously The Hu. They have a sort of hard rock sound to them with their traditional horse head fiddles, overtone singing and jaw harps. I got to see them live here in Chicago and they sounded great. They are a nice break from various metal bands that just do the screamer singer thing.
The second band is Nine Treasures. They are bit more metal than The Hu but still use quite a few traditional instruments in their songs. This one even throws in a Russian balalaika for some leads.
The last band is Uuhai. They are quite a bit like the hu but do a bit more singing. It seems the Gobi Desert is full of metal bands filming their music videos with a drone lol. Its not Mongolian metal unless you are perched on a sand hill with a Morin Khuur and a drone doing 360 flythroughs around your head.
