It's Tuesday and of course that means it's inspiration time!!
I am late today with my ttt post as I got distracted with some research about our new website and new account @mmonline.
Earlier this morning a conversation very briefly turned towards crying and I thought of the tune, It's My Party and I'll cry if i want to!
Today my post is inspired from Lesley Gore

So I mentioned that this morning I got an earworm in my head ....
And I could not remember who sang it ... so off I went to lyric finder and typed in It's My Party and I'll cry if I want to ....
Shock the answer was not what I was expecting .....

Yes this was the one I remember.
I don't remember the woman but I am sure you know of Dave Stewart, who was in the Tourists and Eurythmics was Annie Lennoz amongst others!
This was released in 1981 and actually got to number 1 for 4 weeks.
Well it is Christmas and it is party time yeah?
But now we go back further in history ...
... back to 4th April 1963

Apparantly it is off her debut studio album, I'll cry if I want to
so of course after Alexa finished playing It's My Party she played some more Lesley Gore songs ...
and this one I recognised , I am sure as another cover though!
