I hope you're having a great start of the week! Today I am so happy to tell you about a singing audition I did with my friends!!! This day was full of super fun moments that are worth telling you about!!!
The excitement we had to participate in these auditions was tremendous, so when the time came we were very happy, it would be great to share with you how it went that day, so stick around to find out!!!

¡Espero estén teniendo un excelente inicio de semana! El día de hoy estoy demasiado feliz de contarles sobre una audición de canto que hice junto a mis amigos!! Este día estuvo lleno de momentos súper divertidos que valen la pena contarles!!
La emoción que teníamos por participar en estas audiciones era tremenda, por eso cuando llegó el momento estábamos muy felices, sería genial compartir con ustedes cómo me fue ese día, así que quédense para saber!!
The excitement we had to participate in these auditions was tremendous, so when the time came we were very happy, it would be great to share with you how it went that day, so stay tuned!
It all started last Wednesday, the day that there would be auditions in my high school to choose the "voz liceista", you may ask "What is the "voz liceista", well, from what I understand it is that it is one or two students who will represent the institution in national events where singing is required.
To me it seemed like a good idea to participate in the auditions, although if I'm honest I was a little scared because I had never done one in my life, so I asked my friend Chemi if he wanted to go to participate with me, curiously he was also going to ask me the same thing, he agreed, but my friend Mariangel was undecided, I really wanted her to say yes because I really needed it.
La emoción que teníamos por participar en estas audiciones era tremenda, por eso cuando llegó el momento estábamos muy felices, sería genial compartir con ustedes cómo me fue ese día, así que quédense para saber!!
Todo comenzó el pasado miércoles, día en el que habrían unas audiciones en mi liceo para elegir a la voz liceista, ustedes se preguntarán "¿Qué es la voz liceista?", bueno, por lo que tengo entendido es que se trata de uno o dos estudiantes que representaran a la institución en actos nacionales donde se requiera el canto.
A mi me pareció una buena idea participar en las audiciones, aunque si les soy sincero también me daba un poquito de miedo porque nunca había hecho una en mi vida, por eso le pregunté a mi amigo Chemi si quería ir a participar conmigo, curiosamente el también me iba a preguntar lo mismo, el accedió, pero mi amiga Mariangel andaba indecisa, yo la verdad quería que dijera que si porque en serio haría falta.
At the end Mariangelita agreed and together with Chemi and my friend Rocío who went just to support us we went to the high school to present the audition!!!
I tell you that we arrived by miracle because it was pouring down, but we made it in the end hahaha, when we arrived we registered, first me, then Chemi and then Mariangel, after doing so we sat in order to go through one by one, waiting for our turn were passing some participants, many sang very nice, there you can see my friend Rocio who was there to support the cause hahaha.
Al final Mariangelita accedió y junto con Chemi y mi amiga Rocío que fue solo para apoyarnos fuimos al liceo a presentar la audición!!!
Les cuento que llegamos de milagro porque estaba cayendo un diluvio, pero lo logramos al final jajaja, al llegar nos inscribimos, primero yo, luego Chemi y después Mariangel, luego de hacerlo nos sentaron en orden para ir pasando uno por uno, esperando por nuestro turno iban pasando algunos participantes, muchos cantaron muy bonito, ahí pueden ver a mi amiga Rocío que estaba ahí para apoyar a la causa jajaja.

After a while they called me!!! So I got up to audition. I chose to sing Fuiste tú by Ricardo Arjona, I chose that song because Arjona's voice fits me very comfortable and it is quite easy for me to sing his parts, I tell you that days before I was practicing it and adding my personal touch to make it sound more like me, one thing that was a little challenging for me was the chorus, since it is a little high.
After watching several videos I found the right technique to sing that high part, I recorded myself several times to make sure that I sounded like I wanted, finally I did it, at the beginning of the song I felt confident and happy because I was sounding like I wanted, but at the moment when the chorus came something happened to me that happens to many singers, and is that I went tremendous cock hahahahahaha, I let myself go a little and maybe because of the nerves I forgot everything that is technique, I failed to control my voice and that happened to me hahahaha.
Luego de un rato me nombraron a mi!! Así que me levanté para audicionar. Elegí para cantar Fuiste tú de Ricardo Arjona, escogí esa canción porque la voz de Arjona me queda muy cómoda y es bastante fácil para mi cantar sus partes, les cuento que días antes estuve practicandola y agregándole mi toque personal para que se escuchara más como yo, una cosa que fue un poco desafiante para mí fue el coro, ya que es un poco alto.
Después de ver varios videos encontré la técnica correcta para cantar esa parte alta, me grabé varias veces para cerciorarme de que me escuchaba como yo quería, al final lo logré, al comenzar la canción me sentí seguro y feliz porque estaba sonando como quería, pero al momento en el que llegó el coro me sucedió algo que le pasa a muchos cantores, y es que se me fue tremendo gallo jajajajaja, me deje llevar un poco y quizás por los nervios se me olvidó todo lo que es técnica, no logré controlar mi voz y me pasó eso jajaja.

But I didn't care, I continued with the other part of the choir, until my time was up. The truth is that I was quite satisfied with my audition even though I missed the cock hahaha, that accident remains as a funny experience to laugh with my friends hahahaha and it also remains as a teaching since it is not bad to make mistakes, what matters is to move forward!!! having practiced at home was a great help and made me feel that I transmitted what I wanted!!!!
After me, it was the turn of my friend @chemi.art, he sang a song from Venezuela, and he did it very well!!!! His interpretation was great, he has a lot of stage presence and is very talented!
Pero no me importó, seguí con la otra parte del coro, hasta que terminó mi tiempo. La verdad es que estuve bastante satisfecho con mi audición aunque se me haya ido el gallo jajaja, ese accidente queda como una experiencia divertida para reír con mis amigos jajajaja y también me queda como enseñanza ya que no está mal equivocarse, lo que importa es avanzar!! el haber practicado en casa fue de gran ayuda y me hizo sentir que transmití lo que quería!!!
Luego de mi, fue el turno de mi amigo @chemi.art, cantó una canción de Venezuela, y lo hizo muy bien!!! Su interpretación estuvo genial, tiene mucha presencia escénica y es muy talentoso!

After him came Mariangel, she sang a song from the Steven Universe series, she did very well too!!!! I was very happy that she was encouraged to participate with us!!!! My friends did great, I'm super proud of them for their confidence and talent!!!!
Después de el vino Mariangel, cantó una canción de la serie Steven Universe, lo hizo muy bien también!!! Me puso muy feliz que se haya animado a participar junto a nosotros!!! Mis amigos lo hicieron genial estoy súper orgulloso de ellos por su seguridad y talento!!

After a while it was time to leave, after the whole experience we were very happy, I felt very good to have had the opportunity to participate with my friends, because I felt more confident and supported, I hope they also felt my support!!!!
Después de un rato se hizo momento de irnos, después de toda la experiencia estábamos muy felices, yo la verdad me sentí muy bien de haber tenido la oportunidad de participar junto a mis amigos, ya que así me sentí más seguro y apoyado, espero que ellos también hayan sentido mi apoyo!!!

On the way home we met a cute kitten and we stopped to pet it hehehehe, I think she was pregnant because of her chubby belly, she reminded me of my kitty Solar, they look quite similar.
En el camino a casa nos encontramos un lindo gatito y nos detuvimos a acariciarlo jejeje, creo que estaba embarazada por su panza gordita, me recordó a mi gatita Solar, se parecen bastante.

Definitely doing this kind of activities that allow you to exploit your talent are amazing and even more if you do it with people you love! I am very grateful to have participated in this audition with my friends.

Definitivamente hacer este tipo de actividades que te permiten explotar tu talento son asombrosas y más si lo haces junto a gente que quieres!! Estoy muy agradecido de haber participado en esta audición con mis amigos.
Aprovecho de contarles de que quedé en el segundo lugar, estoy demasiado feliz por haberlo logrado, esto me inspira y me alienta a seguir mejorando cada día más para siempre avanzar!!!
