Hello, fellow HIVE users worldwide as well as dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's musical mood of the day, I decided to share a great song from the discography of one of the finest classic rock bands and, at the same time, one of my all time most favourite rock bands, namely the wonderful Fleetwood Mac.
The following song I dearly wanted to share today is entitled 'World In Harmony' and is taken from a re-released remastered version of the classic 'Then Play On' (1969), the last album with founding member Peter Green.
The following fan-made video for the song is very beautiful as well, if you'd like to take a look at it:
This is a perfect music for relaxation and having a great evening. Plus, best of all, it's also entirely instrumental which I love so, so much! It's so tranquil and it is as if it speaks to the soul directly through its exquisite and progressive instrumentation.
Although this great studio album (i.e. 'Then Play On') is labeled as blues rock, psychedelic rock, and folk rock on Wikipedia, I also see a lot of progressive rock sound in its songs, especially in this one. Its soft instrumentation is quite ethereal. Fleetwood Mac has always been a great band, from the 1960s onwards, and has had (and still has) amazing musicians in the composition of its line-ups!
That was all for this musical post on my behalf. I truly hope you liked it, found it interesting, and well worth your time! All the best, take care, stay safe, and have a wonderful autumn along with your dear ones! Rock on and play on, as the title of this great studio albums pretty much says it all! 🙂
