Greetings friends of #Hive and lovers of good music, this time I want to talk about this video clip of the iconic band Fear Factory, which is titled Recode, released last June 18th of this year. This music track belongs to Fear Factory's tenth album, Aggression Continuum.
But speaking specifically of the visuals, it is a well-structured audiovisual work, well-suited to the band's music, adapting the story of a post-apocalyptic world, where the character must continue to resist the adversities of the situation. In the aesthetics you can see each of these elements of scenery and setting, which is attached to the story of the videoclip, as an era marked by destruction and the ravages of war.
The film editing, on the other hand, neatly respects the structure of the video, thus making its story a very important filmic element for Fear Factory's music. Well realised cinematic shots and the use of filmic resources according to the story. There is the use of wide shots, to show the devastation of the place, to put the viewer in context of the story, as well as the character's trajectory in the development of the plot.
In addition, there is a musical element, due to the characteristics of the band, which still maintains that industrial metal sound, faithful to the same label. Adequate to this type of story, since Fear Factory's characteristic, hard-hitting guitar riffs, harmonious metallic keyboards, dense drums and powerful vocals are certain characteristics that make you think through music, as a very industrial and futuristic musical aspect, as part of humanity.
I definitely recommend this video clip, and of course the new Fear Factory album, for those who have already heard this band, they will remind them of previous works, and for the new ones they will be able to feed themselves with new sounds that music offers us, as expression.
