A greeting to everyone in this beautiful #Music community. I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of "I (Who Have Nothing)," an orchestral pop ballad with strong soul and rhythm and blues influences composed by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. There is an original Italian version by Carlo Donida and Giulio Rapetti. The melody is emotional and expansive, with a dynamic that progressively grows in intensity. The lyrics are a heartbreaking plea and a confession of unconditional love from the perspective of someone lacking material goods and social status, contrasting with a wealthy rival. This piece is in the key of A Minor; in my case, I play it in B Minor. The song moves at a slow to moderate tempo in 4/4 time with a few syncopated lines.

Un cordial saludo para todos en esta bella comunidad de #Music. Tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «I (Who Have Nothing)», una balada pop orquestal con fuertes influencias del soul y el rhythm and blues compuesta por Jerry Leiber y Mike Stoller. Existe una versión original italiana por Carlo Donida y Giulio Rapetti. La melodía es emotiva y expansiva con una dinámica que va creciendo en intensidad progresivamente. La letra de es una súplica desgarradora y una confesión de amor incondicional desde la perspectiva de alguien que carece de bienes materiales y estatus social, en contraste con un rival rico. Esta pieza se encuentra en la tonalidad de A Menor, en mi caso la interpreto en B Menor. La canción se mueve a un tempo lento a moderado con una métrica en 4/4 con unas pocas líneas sincopadas.
I really like the title of the song. We come into the world with nothing, and we leave it without material possessions. Wealth, power, and fame are fleeting. We can't take any of that with us beyond this life. Recently, a natural disaster occurred in the state of Mérida, and many people lost their homes. I have family there, and they were left homeless and without the vehicle they used to transport their crops. They grow vegetables. Fortunately, they only lost material possessions and everyone is safe. It's hard because they're an elderly couple, and starting over isn't an easy task. Losing everything at a frugal age isn't the same as losing everything in old age. When you're young, you can start over. I think we didn't come into this world in vain; I think we'll take memories and knowledge with us. I hope you enjoy this performance.

Me gusta mucho el titulo de la canción. Venimos al mundo sin nada, y nos vamos del mundo sin posiciones materiales. La riqueza, el poder y la fama son efímeros. Nada de eso podemos llevarnos después de esta vida. Hace poco ocurrió un desastre natural en el Estado Mérida, y muchas personas perdieron sus casas. Tengo familia allá, y quedaron damnificados sin su vivienda y sin su vehículo con el cual trasladaban su cosecha. Ellos se dedican a la siembra de hortalizas. Afortunadamente, se puede decir que perdieron solo cosas materiales y que todos están a salvo. Es duro porque son una pareja de ancianos y comenzar de nuevo no es tarea fácil. No es lo mismo perderlo todo en una edad frugal que en la vejez. Cuando se es joven se puede empezar de nuevo. Pienso que no venimos a este mundo en vano, pienso que nos llevaremos recuerdos y conocimientos. Espero disfruten de esta interpretación.
